Ketsueki- So these I have had ideas for this book a long time ago(Around 3 maybe 4 years), but I was scared I would ruin. But I am ok now and if I ruin it maybe someone will come along and make it better.
I woke up on the ground not knowing how or, my long golden hair sprawled all around me. The first thing I noticed was the amount of blood around me and the surrounding trees. I jerked awake thinking someone was hurt. After getting my barring's I noticed the blood was coming from me or was coming from me. After I watched my wounds heal up before my eyes I started taking in my surroundings and I noticed that I was not wearing any clothes and to make matters worse I had no idea where I was or who I was the only thing that kept going through my mind was a growing fear telling me to run. To run now and run fast.
I listened to the feeling of dread and fear and began to struggle to stand up even though every part of my body fighting was against me, telling me to just lay down and rest. I reached for a low branch to help myself get off the ground, and it must have been my imagination but, the branch seemed to reach out to me. When I was finally on my two feet standing up I started on my slow trudge through the woods. Putting one foot in front of the other I began my aimless walk through the woods. As I walked I could feel my strength slowly returning to me, I felt as if the forest's was healing me, and it felt amazing like I was on cloud nine.
By the time that my aching body was no longer sore I was at a full sprint running through the woods. Everything became a blur and before I knew it I was out of the forest and in a large clearing in the forest. The moment I came out of the forest my bare feet were in a creek and it felt amazing to have the cold water brushing against my feet removing all of the debris from them.
I soon walked out a little farther into the water till the water was at my hip and to my surprise, the current didn't try to pull me down the creek along with everything else that got in the creek, instead, it held me in place as if it was protecting me. as walked to the other side of the creek and sat down hoping that I would soon be able to go home. "Home" I whispered to myself "I want to go home." It was annoying that I couldn't remember what or where the home was. I stayed at the edge of the creek till dusk waiting for something, anything to happen. That's when I heard a loud howl coming from the forest. The howl scared me to my feet and I ran to the other side of the clearing.
When I made it to the other edge of the clearing the bushes started to rustle and I felt a growing feeling that someone was challenging me, but I was not going to go down without a fight. Out of the bush came out a huge four-legged beast with yellow eyes. Its mouth hung open showing off its strong jaw and its tail was lashing out at the nearby trees making a loud thumping sound that shook the ground.
I wasn't sure as to why but my first instinct wasn't to run but fight. I held my hand out and liquid fire began to pool in the palm of my hand. The liquid fire stretched out expanding its self until it formed a scythe. The scythe had a bright red blade that radiated light and a blank handle. I didn't have much more time till the beast came to attack me, but I was able to dodge and make a counter with ease so much ease that I wondered if I had been born with the scythe in my hands because holding the scythe felt like it was a part of me as much as my arm or leg was.
With my new found strength the fear that the beast would win seemed to slowly dissipate, and I was ready to fight. The beast didn't take kindly to my attack and launched its self at me with its jaws wide open ready to bite me. I dodged the beast's attack and swung my scythe around my back aiming to cut off the beast's leg while I dodged its attack, but the beast was an expecting it and made a move to dodge my attack, but I still nipped the beast's leg. I turned around ready to attack, from the top this time, and I slashed at the beast's back while I jumped onto a nearby tree, the branches holding me up. The beast roared in pain from the gash on its back, and back away a little.
