Chapter 32- With You #1

MEGUMI'S POV

We rode a cab on the way home and Shiro and I were exhausted. I open my phone and it was already 6:17 in the evening. The sky was already dark like it was 8pm but I guess the weather has a large effect on the condition of the sky. Not to mention it was snowing.

While watching the snow pour slowly, there was something heavy landed on my shoulder. I glanced at my right and I saw a tired and sleeping Shiro. He's that tired huh? I thought. I sighed and placed my head on top of his and continue to watch the snow fall to the ground.

This past few days was hectic and of course tiring. Well, it's not that I'm complaining or I see it as a problem, it's just it was just really hard reuniting two people who decided half heartedly to let go of each other for the happiness of the other.

Reminiscing all of those things makes it more tiring. It didn't take long, My head ached forcing me to take a little nap and my shut instantly. The place was rather far so I guess it's fine to take a nap.

While in the midst of my deep slumber, I feel like I was floating. I heard the door of the car shut and drove away. A sound of a gate creaking open occur. I'm sure that I was sleeping soundly but I was hearing different noises. It didn't take long I was laying on a soft floor.

I opened my eyes and I quickly noticed I was in a dark room. I quickly grab my phone out of my pocket and it was 8:26 pm. There were 4 messages from my mom and obviously, she was already worried and looking for me. I observed the room and it was Shiro's. I sighed in relief. I thought I was kidnapped or something. But if I was kidnapped, my phone wouldn't be inside my pocket. Idiot.

I went out of his room and there his mother was on the couch and watching television. She noticed my presence and stood up from her seat.

"Oh! You're awake! If you're looking for Shiro, he went out for a second." Then she smiled at me. I went downstairs and ask properly for her permission.

"Thank you. But I have to head home. My mom is looknig for me."  Then I bowed and apologized.

She just chuckled, "You don't have to say sorry. I perfectly understand. But, Shiro wants to ask a favor to you."  

I tilt my head on the side and let her continue, "He should be the one to ask this but since I'm her mom, I'll be the one to ask you. Would you mind staying here for tonight?"

My eyes widen and it was unusual, well not that unusual but I was just shocked and shy at the same time, "That is fine by me, but I have to ask my mom first."  I scratch lightly my cheek and asked, "Why is that you want me to stay?"

"His father will be coming home tomorrow morning and I, especially Shiro wants you to meet him."  

I was overwhelmed in a snap of a finger. I was really happy. It is really nice that they accept me in their family. That feeling they want you to meet the members of their family to welcome you and to make you feel they approve you for their son.

I gave her a smile, "Sure! I gladly accept!"

I walked home and as soon as I enter the door and shouted calmly, "I'm home." My mom rushed at the hall and hugged me. "i thought something bad happened to you!"

"D-don't worry. I'm fine."  I answered while being squeezed by her strong arms wrapped around me.

 I quickly told mom I'll be staying spending the night in Shiro's place. My mom said yes but she just quickly grabbed me on the shoulders, "I can't believe my little Megumi will decide to leave me."
