I stood there beside Ben, as the movers all pack their stuff into the moving truck. I cried, so was Ben. Ben is moving away, because his parents got new job in a new city. "I can't believe he's leaving me, my only best friend in school is going to leave me alone, why?" I thought to myself. I was only 10 at that time.
"Rey, I'm sorry." Ben said.
"It's alright, it isn't your fault anyway Ben." I replied.
"Are you going to be okay?" he asked.
I nodded. Then I heard a voice I never want to hear, Ben's mom.
"Are you ready Ben?" she asked.
Ben looked at me, he reached into his pocket and took out a bracelet. It was a silver colored bracelet, with beautiful flower shaped jewels and a tiny heart hanging with the writing: BFF. Then he gave it to me. It's the most beautiful bracelet of all.
"Wear it. So that you will remember me." he said.
"Okay, and when you want to talk to me, look up the moon in the sky, and I'll reply back." I replied with a smile.
Ben gave me one last hug and whispered in my ear,
"This isn't goodbye. I will see you again, someday."
Then it was just that. He went inside his car. I waved at him until his car disappear into the distance.
Author's Note:
Hello my fellow readers. I'm so sorry about the crappiness of this story. Some of them have bad grammar or bad sentences, so forgive me. I am a new writer. Some part of this story may be cliche, because I took inspiration from movies, and other love stories. I'm sorry about the crappy and cringe worthy story plot, because this is a 13 year old writing a love story, and has no clue what love means other than family and friends. I'm trying my best on writing this story. I hope you enjoy. If any of you readers have any suggestion or tips, I would like to hear it from you, and I appreciate it.
Thank you,
thehighpriestess
