"I don't want to go to a party!" I whine, falling on my bed face first.

Elena has been trying to convince me to go to some sorority party that I have no interest in. I'm not a party girl. I don't find it fun to go out and drink to get completely wasted to have a killer hangover in the morning. How is that even fun? It sounds terrible. I'm underage anyways.

"Please!" Elena falls on her knees by my bed with her hands clasped together.

I turn my head to be able to see her better. "I hate parties."

"Just come for an hour. If you still don't want to be there then we will leave." Elena pouts. "Connor will be there. You can hang out with him."

I sit up on my bed. "I'm not wearing a dress." I give in.

"Yes!" Elena jumps up off the floor and hugs me.

"Or a skirt."

"You can't wear jeans to a party." Elena complains, opening my closet door.

"I get to pick out my outfit or I'm not going." I cross my arms stubbornly.

"Tori!" Elena groans. "You need to meet a guy. You can't get a guy's attention in jeans."

"I don't want to meet a guy that only wants my body." I walk over to my closet. "I don't want a boyfriend anyways."

"Why not?!" Elena stops looking through my clothes. "You haven't had a boyfriend since Liam. It will help you get over him."

I wince at his name. I've been trying to avoid his name. Just hearing his name brings back those painful memories that I've tried so hard to forget. You would think I would have got over him by now. Apparently not. Stupid feelings making me still love him.

"I thought we agreed on not saying his name out loud." I reply, grabbing a pair of destroyed denim skinny jeans.

"Oh, I'm sorry. The jerk that should not be named." Elena corrects herself. "How about this?" She holds up a pink one-shoulder blouse.

"That's not even mine." I pull a grey sweater off a hanger that has Minnie Mouse on the front.

"No!" Elena snatches the sweater from my hand. "You are not wearing Minnie Mouse to a college party! This is not middle school!"

I try to grab my sweater back. "I don't care. I'm not going to this party to meet guys. I'm going because you are making me."

"Let me pick out your shirt." Elena pleads.

"Fine." I agree. I'll just wear the sweater over it.

Elena tosses the sweater on my bed before heading back in my closet. She searches through my clothes for a shirt to wear. I don't even want to go to this stupid party. There will be all these dumb teenagers getting wasted and acting stupid. Sounds like so much fun.

"Prefect." Elena tosses a floral strapless shirt with a few ruffles. You have got to be kidding me.

"That's not even mine." I wrinkle my nose at it.

"That's because it's mine." She walks out of my room. "Get ready. We leave in ten minutes!"

I glare at the piece of material in my hands. There is no way I am wearing this. I throw the shirt on my bed and walk back to my closet. Elena's and my style is completely different. I have clothes that actually cover more than one part of my body and she would rather look cute than be comfy. That's not me.

I pull the sweater over my black tank top that I already had on. I crouch down to look through my shoes on the ground. My eyes scan over my converse, flats, vans, Toms, and a few sandals. I reach for my red Toms and stand back up. I trudge out of my bedroom and down the hallway to Connor's room. I push the door open not bothering to knock. We have learned to lock our doors when we need to. Connor is laying on his bed already dressed for the party.
