Mary was, once again, watching yoai on her iPhone. She crawled under her blankets on her bed and draped them over her so it was dark. The albino liked her privacy and it made her happy she could watch her boy's love in peace.

On normal days, Seto wouldn't even think of doing something like this. If his stupid brother hadn't triple-dog-dared him, he wouldn't be sitting at his computer desk, staring at a blank email. Heaving a sigh, he glanced down at the slip of paper with the email address on it -- boyslove234@gmail.com. He really hoped Kano knew this kid. Seto didn't want to make him or her angry. Resting his finger tips on the keyboard, he began typing a message: Help us support gay rights in Japan! Please click the link below. He switched to another window, copying the link of the page. It was one of those stupid "got your soul" things, unfortunately, though if it was something to help gay rights, this person would probably click it without hesitation. Seto pasted the link into the message box and clicked send, leaning back in his chair. 'Alright, Kano, you owe me.'

Mary paused her anime and tapped the notification banner that popped up on her phone. She read what it said. "Of course!" She clicked the link and blinked a few times. 'I didn't know that a site was suppose to steal my soul.' Mary, being oblivious to the fact that she was tricked, shrugged it off. After a few minutes, she realized that it wasn't real and that link was a ruse. She was curious to know who sent it to her. She messaged the person:

Liar.

Seto opened his eyes as his computer chimed, signaling a new email. as soon as he read the single word, he blushed, quickly typing a reply. i know. i'm sorry. my brother made me do this, i swear. He paused for a momement before slowly typing in the next few words. that website didn't scare you, did it..? After all, he didn't know how old this kid was, so he couldn't help but worry about that.

Mary narrowed her eyes at her iPod before replying back: Just because your brother "made you" doesn't mean you had to. Sexuality is a serious subject these days. And, no, it didn't scare me, thank you very much. The girl was surprised by how confident she sounded. She kind of liked it. 'Internet just gives me confidence, I guess.' Mary waited for a reply from the person.

right. i'm so sorry. i didn't mean to upset you. Seto seriously felt like crying about his stupidity. That kid had a point -- he didn't necessarily have to send the email. He could've lied and told kano that he'd sent it. And then he could've gotten his money. No harm done. 'Whoever this person is, they're pretty smart.' so, i guess you're going to block me and never speak to me again, huh? Again, I'm very sorry about what happened.

Mary frowned, feeling bad that she was so hard on this person who messaged her. They really did seem like they were apologizing and not bluffing. A small smile formed on her face. No, I won't. How did you get my email, anyways? She blushed, embarrassed that it said, "boy's love."

my brother had it. he gave it to me and told me to send that message. Seto couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. 'Good. I didn't offend them. I would've felt guilty if I had upset them...' And you're into yaoi? that's cool. :) 'Might as well be nice from here on out.'

Then how did HE get it? I usually don't give out my email. It's embarrassing. I don't know why I use it. And yeah, I'm into yoai. People call it disgusting but I don't really think it is. Love is love - sometimes they show it otherwise... Yuri bores me. .... Sorry for rambling. ^^; 'Why am I telling a complete stranger this? Ugh. I should have just deleted what I said before I sent it. Oh well. They don't know me so whatever.'

my brother is a strange boy. there's no telling how he got your email. xD He raised an eyebrow as he read the rest of the message, fighting a small smile. 'Old Kano got the email of a fujoshi, huh?' Seto chuckled softly. 'Ah well. At least they're not sending me pictures and crap like regular yaoi fangirls. They're being surprisingly mature.' it's okay. i see what you mean. i'm not a big fan of yaoi or yuri myself, but I don't think it's disgusting. some of it is sort of cute. :3

Mary let out a light chuckle. I see. Well, it's not bad as long as it's cute and light for people like you. Like a cutesy little kiss or something. I respect your opinion. 'This person isn't that bad, actually.' I've got to go. Want to talk later?

Seto blinked once, a little confused. 'What do they mean by "light, cutesy stuff"?' He pushed the thought away, shaking his head. ah. never really seen any other kind of yaoi or yuri...^^; As he read the last part of the message, he couldn't help but feel disappointed. 'Leaving already?' yeah! see ya later! :3 After that, he logged off, leaning back in his chair once again. 'Could I consider this person a friend? I mean, it's hard to be friends with someone you only know from a social networking site, but...they're not so bad.' The boy smiled, taking the slip of paper from his desk and setting it on top of his monitor so that the words were exposed to the rest of the room. 'My first friend. Yay.'
