(Before I start this prologue, and story for that matter, I would like to say that any DC characters do not belong to me, they belong to their appropriate creator/creators. And of course, you belong to you silly. Now let us begin, I hope you enjoy this story. Also all Atlantean characters are actually speaking in Atlantean, until further notice, I am just writing in English so you can actually understand )

( 3rd Person Point Of View )

After a successful mission versus Black Manta, Aqua-man decided it would be best to retire home to his kingdom under the sea. The king of Atlantis felt drawn the sand as he walked across it barefoot as usual, and the sand was wet far from the water, because there had been a storm during their fight.

Arthur sat on the sand despite it being wet and sticky. He tilted his head up to the sky and sighed deeply. "Why can the world not always be so peaceful?" he asked to the stars. They twinkled a bit as if to laugh at him and he laughed right back.

As if destiny, a cry was heard from a few waves away. Arthur stood and walked towards the noise of the baby crying. Left on the beach lay a baby wrapped in sea weed weeping. He reached down and lifted the babe in his arms hoping to calm the frightened infant. "Hush little one all will be fine," he cooed.

The baby stopped crying and opened her big (your eye color) doe eyes, looking at Arthur in curiosity. The young king smiled reassuringly at the baby and walked back to recollect his trident. Mid-bend he noticed something on the tiny head of the child he was holding with his left arm.

A symbol in light blue glowed on the babe's head as the hero neared the water, and that is when the king knew the baby he was carrying wrapped in seaweed with (skin color)(That is normal like no blue or pink or red

A symbol in light blue glowed on the babe's head as the hero neared the water, and that is when the king knew the baby he was carrying wrapped in seaweed with (skin color)(That is normal like no blue or pink or red. Just normal color like cocoa) and (eye color) was an Atlantean child. He pulled the seaweed a bit away from the child's neck and saw gills.

The king read the symbol and realized it was Atlantean for (Your Name). Holding the baby closer, he entered the water and swam with her in his arms, towards Atlantis. Nearing the barrier that separated the fine city from outsiders, he swam through and gently loosened his grip, to not hurt the babe.

Entering the castle he called for his wife the queen, and sat in his throne to await her. Mera entered and gracefully swam towards her spouse. "You wished to see me Arthur?" she inquired, red hair flowing softly behind her. Arthur nodded his head towards the already sleeping baby girl. "I found this infant on the beach abandoned, and left in nothing but a seaweed cloth. I would like to keep her as our own daughter, but I would like to ask you before I do so." He responded.

In all truth, he did not need to ask his wife for permission because he was the king, but he was a good husband, and he cared greatly for his spouse. The queen smiled softly and nodded, holding out her arms in asking permission to hold the baby. The king held out the child and Mera took her in her arms. "Hello little one, I am your mother now," she whispered softly, cradling you in a motherly way. "Orin, what is the babe's name?" She asked still rocking the baby girl in her arms.

"There is a symbol on her head that says (Your name), so i suppose it is her name," he answered, watching Mera hold the baby in her arms protectively. Mera nodded and gave him a small smile before turning to leave the room, and and before she left with the babe in her arms she informed her husband, "I am going to clothe the babe in proper garments of a princess."

Swimming out of the throne room and towards her room the queen asked one of her mer-maids to bring garments made of Atlantean silk. Mera sat on a sofa in her room, and unwrapped the seaweed from the baby girls small form and bathed her. The babe now wide awake and fully clothed felt calmed to have the gentle hands lovingly place her in the large sea-shell cradle.

Completely satisfied, the babe yawned and fell asleep. Mera smiled, and kissed the infants head and whispering, "Good night my daughter."
