When life gives you lemons and willow trees

I wake up to the screeches of Pelly the parrot my mom insists of the bird staying in mine and my brothers room ever since my brother accidentally taught it to say questionable things.
"Get it you dirty slut!" Pelly screeches. Can I just point out my brother Adams only 13...yeah.
"Pelly shut up." I say to the bird as I start getting ready for the school day.
"Pelly shut up Pelly shut up Pelly shut up." Pelly repeats back.
"Mom if you don't want this bird turned into dinner I suggest you move it!" I yell to my mom.
I change into clothes for school I put on a black shirt blue jeans and black Nikes and I'm ready to go. I head downstairs to find my mom sliding a bowl of cereal to Adam my little brother.
"Hey hun you can blame you're brother for the bird." My mom says pointing at my brother.
"Or you know you can just give me my own room." I say. Me and Adam are forced to share a room since my older sister Kash gets her own room. I've been waiting for her to graduate go to college and leave so I'd get her room but sadly she's on what we call a break even though we all know that means she's not gonna do anything with her life.
"Honey you know we can't Kash is still living here." My mom says sliding me a plate of toast.
"I don't think she'll ever leave." I desperately need my own room every night my brother Adam when he thinks everyone's sleeping likes to watch porn and we all know how that goes. Yeah... I hear everything.
"She's on break and you know it, she just needs time." My mom says flipping the pages of one of her art inspiration books.
"It's whatever the birds gonna die anyway." I say rolling my eyes. "I'm leaving."
"Wait! Take Adam." My mom shouts to me.
"Are you serious don't you think we share enough time with each other?" I complain.
"I don't care you're taking him, I'm going to Jeremy and Brooke's house to help redecorate." My mom says grabbing her purse leaving.
"Ughhhh" I look back at Adam who picks a piece of his cereal up and then licks it out of the palm of his hands. God I hope he washes his hands after what he does.
"Let's go puss." I say motioning to the door for us to leave.
"Hey mom said to stop calling me that." Adam said whining as he followed me to the car.
We sit in the car as we wait for Lemon. She's one of my best friends she's the daughter of my moms best friends, Jeremy and Brooke, she has a twin brother which they are totally different. Lemon has black hair and piercing blue eyes,like her mom, she's more of the rebellious type.
"What's up dude." Lemon says as she gets in the car, "ooh I see we're taking Mr.Horndog."
Adam starts to blush he doesn't know that I know let alone that I told Lemon everything. I didn't feel like talking about that so I just ignored it and so on we went.
We dropped Adam off at school then we went on our way to get another friend named Willow she was black with brown curly hair and dark brown eyes.
"What up mofos." Willow says as she opens the door, "let's get this show on the road."
We head into the schools front doors. I find my cousin Summer hanging with her friends I scan them to find the girl I've been in love with my whole life. Juliet Matthews the most beautiful girl in the world with long silky brown hair and the greenest eyes. If only she knew who I was.
"Jeez close your mouth Grant you're gonna make Lenny want to stick his dick in your mouth." Lemon says pushing me. Lenny is the schools closeted gay guy.
"Shut up Lemon you're disgusting." I say starting to walk again. I look back at Juliet to find Summer flipping me off. Summer and I haven't been very close these past few years ever since Lemon, Willow, and I catfished her into thinking she was talking to Justin Bieber it hasn't been peaceful since.
I head to my first period. Spanish with Mrs.Leveland. I look at the board to see where I sit. Right. Next. To. Juliet. Mathews.
I sit down fix my hair trying to make myself seem cool nows my time to make a move on Juliet. Who's kidding me she'd never see me like that.
"Hey you're Summer's cousin right?" Juliet says as she sits. I was so stuck in thought I hadn't noticed her walk in.
"Oh uh yeah I'm cousins Summer... I mean yes I'm Summer's cousin." Way to go Grant you already fucked up your chances.
"You're funny." Juliet says laughing majestically flipping her hair to her back.
"So I like to think." I said. God she thinks I'm weird I already know.
The class period continues on throughout our lectures I glance at Juliet give an awkward wince smile and she'd laugh and I'd turn back around panicking inside.
When the bell rings I couldn't have gotten out of that class faster. As the day continues all I can think about is going back to Spanish tomorrow and dreaming about Juliet. Six periods pass and it's lunch I meet up Lemon and Willow.
"Does no one else find it weird we have lunch so late?" Lemon says taking a bite of her apple.
"I don't care just as long as I get to eat still." Willow says unraveling her tin foil wrapped burrito.
"Why are you so giddy Grant?" Lemon says ignoring Willows comment.
"Juliet Mathews that's why." I say staring at the popular table where she's at.
"Oh god Grant it's a new year can't you find someone new to fan girl over?" Lemon says rolling her eyes.
"It's different this year... and I'm not fan girling okay I think I have a chance this year." I say glaring at Lemon.
"Well actually looks like your chance is ruined." Willow says pointing back at the table where Juliet is now being swallowed whole by Caspian Prince the schools all time jock my arch nemesis.
"Of all people why him." I say balling my fist.
"I mean he's a little cute." Willow says shoving another bite of her burrito in her mouth.
"Willow!" Lemon says nudging her hard.
"What?" Willow says after a big gulp of air from choking on her burrito.
If I want to get Juliet I've got to work my way up to that table and become more popular than Caspian Prince.
"You're right Lemon it is a new year." I say still looking at Juliet's table.
Lemon and Willow look and each other and sigh.
