My name is Amanda Halls but my friends call me Amanda. I'm dressing for school and making sure all my assignments and notes are complete. I face my dressing mirror my hair is braided with brown thread.
"Amanda! hurry up, your going to be late, the bus is leaving" I heard my mom say as I stuff my books into my backpack
"Coming mom!" I shouted back and rushed out of my room, I head down the stairs taking it two at a time.
"Bye mom" I shouted dashing out of the house with the hope of catching the bus before it leaves, luckily I caught it just in the nick of time. As I stepped into the bus all eyes turned but they just sized me and looked elsewhere, I took a sit at the front but unluckily the only available sit is next to 'booger John' who got that well deserved name by the uncanny ability to dig his nose.
The bus finally arrived at Elite Parasonic High School a home of quality education and adequate learning. The big letters and logo which greets me as they usually do every day. It is an international school which comprises of various students from different parts of the world. It is a scholarship-oriented school in which students are meant to enter through scholarship but unfortunately most of the students bribed their way in.
I walked through the hallway down to my locker, put in my combinations and opened it. Looking at my schedule, I carried my calculus note and walked into my class. Settling down was a bit easy cause I came in 5 minutes before the class started. Our teacher Mrs. Uduak a woman in her early forties walked in and class became silent cause of her dominating nature. "Our topic today is....................".
