You're very upset tonight because your boyfriend broke up with you. You entered your house and you see your brothers and the rest of the gang . You stop and glance at them,then run to your room. You can't stop thinking about your breakup. You then start to cry. Yo try to be silent so nobody hears you. However,your older brother,Sodapop,walks by and hears you crying. He enters your room. "Y/N, are you okay?" "Soda,just-g-get out please.",you say with a whimper. He frowns and says,"There's no reason a girl like you should be crying. What happened? Is it your boyfriend? Is it Dally? Did he say something?". You're very overwhey your brother drowning you in questions. You answer anyway. "My boyfriend broke up with me! For Cherry Valance! He's a middle class country boy! I JUST DON'T GET IT!". Soda's eyes are filled with fear. "You don't deserve to be crying over a boy. You're too beautiful-and smart." You're so flattered because none of your brothers have ever been so nice to you. "Why are you being so nice to me?" " I'm your big brother. I'm supposed to be there for you.",he says. Soda jumps on your bed and gives you a big hug. He carries you on his back. "Where are you taking me?", you ask. "We're taking you to the Dingo!",he shouts. "Who's 'we're'? ", you ask. He takes you outside and you see in the dark the whole gang. They all give you a hug. You enjoy the rest of your night.
