After a long debate between you and the doctor you had both finally agreed to stay in the TARDIS and read.

You knew the doctor can't stand being in one place withoyt doing something his not intrested so you asked him to tell you about historical figures and his encounters with them

You were peacefully listening to him until he changes the subject for a bit

"There's this one quite thing about humans that amazes when i first knew about your history" the doctor leans on his seat and looks at you

You raised your brow and tilt your head to the side like a confused puppy "what is it?"

"Your planet is so young. So so young but develop so fast.sure it isn't alien technology or timelord technology but still. Its quite amazing of you lot" he looks at you and then sees your face causing him to frown "hey what's wrong hm?. Have i said something offending?"

You looked at his eyes and softly smiled. Shaling your head "oh nothing offending its just... Yes we develop fast but i don't think its for the good of it... I mean look at us now. The US. Russia. North Korea and China can break out in to an nuclear war any second. Smaller countries are already at war with other countries or with it's self. The development of technology causes life to be more easier yes but it also causes hundreds of poor people to lose their jobs!.  It was all fine at its beginning but i think we're going too fast for other people's likings..." You sighed looking down

The doctor leans over and lifts your chin up "hey. Now now with the negative. Yes those are good examples of the negative but what about ghe positives?. Your new technology helps  the injured and ill the pregnant and sorts. You lot make vehicles to travel to other foreign places and planets i mean look at far you all have come! See there are always the positives to things. You humans have so much to look up to from how young your planet is" he smiles widely at you

You smiled back and hugged him. "Yeah... I guess your right"

The doctor chuckles and pulls away "i'm always right most of the time" this caused you to roll your eyes and playfully punch his shoulder

"Oow" he looks at you with a playful pained look

"Oh shut it. Now how about joan d'arc" you smiled and leaned to listen closely

"Ah sweet. brave. Joan"
