Love's Sorrow➳Min Yoongi

-Prologue-

     "Min Yoongi, I gave you the sheet music a week ago. And you give me this garbage? Again from the top. And you're not sleeping until you perfect this, you hear me? NOT SLEEPING."

*Yoongi's POV*

     I woke up with a start to the sound of my alarm clock ringing annoyingly. It was just a dream, a mere memory, I'm...ok. Groggily, I turned to my side and looked at the time. 7:15 AM. Lucky me.

     I got up and began my normal routine. Brushing my teeth, staring at the ceiling, struggling not to fall asleep again, the usual. Soon, I reached my bedroom and opened up my closet. Picking a random pair of jeans and a plain t-shirt, I sluggishly threw the two items over my shoulder.

     Not like I can see the colors anyway, so what's the point of trying to find matching clothes.

     No, I'm not colorblind. Nor color deficient. Or whatever the hell you wanna call it. 

     I'm just...broken. One day I'm a star pianist, seeing my creations come to life in the world around me. And the next day, I'm left with my title gone, my eyes incapable of seeing the world's true beauty...

     and a dead mother.

     Not like it bothers me anymore. I have exactly what I need. A roof over my head, a couple close friends, and enough money to pay my bills. In my eyes, color is a completely unnecessary thing that people praise far too much.

     I've had people tell me to just "pick up piano again, maybe the world around you will brighten". But frankly, I'd rather die than touch that god-forsaken instrument again.
