all with the promise of love and more,

Who would be worthy?

If there stand ten thousand men,  

capable of caring for your needs,

who’d do their very best to please, who’d you choose?

Now, a hundred noble souls,

encrusted with more fortune than you have ever known,

Whose queen would you be?

If I stood outside you door,

one man seemingly ordinary;

who professes a touch of destiny,

who speaks in symphonic soliloquies.

A charismatic contagion oblivious to convention,

would you permit me?
