Kara POV
I was really super nervous about finally telling Lena my secret, she was my best friend and I was kind of worried that once I told her my secret, she would hate me over not telling her sooner. I couldn't lose my friendship with her it meant everything to me she was the main rock that kept me tethered to my normal life, I needed her.
"Hey Lena, could we talk for a second, I need to tell you something," I said and sat down on the small couch in her office.
"Sure Kara what is it?" she asked and came over and sat next to me. At that point, I just started balling my eyes out.
"Oh my god, Kara, sweetie are you alright did something happen with Mon-el (in my world they never broke up so just go with)
"I have to tell you something, but I'm afraid when I do you'll hate me for it and I couldn't stand to have you hate me, Lena, you're almost as much of a sister to me as Alex is and I just don't want you to hate me" I cried
"Kara, you stood by me when no one else wanted to, there is really nothing you could do to make me hate you, we family".
"I'm Supergirl," I said and waited for the response, Lena starts busting out laughing
"Whats so funny," I ask
"Is that what this is about, Kara I've known for awhile now and I don't hate you for not telling me," she says
"Really?" I say
"Really, we're family Kara like you said, sisters"
"When you should also know that Alex and I work for a government agency called the Department of Extranormal Operations," I told her I figured since I was in sharing mode I might as well tell her everything.
"We will always be family blood doesn't matter my blood family is horrible but you and Alex and Sam you are my true family". She told me and I knew she meant it.
