Introduction

A long time ago, there lived a girl. She wasn't just a normal girl. She was a princess, but she was a princess with 7 other brothers and sisters. Her name was Amalie Courage. She was the 3rd oldest of her many siblings, and she wished she wasn't. Amalie hated being one of the "middle children." She thought that her oldest and youngest brothers and sisters got more attention from their busy parents. Amalie's parents were king and queen of their small kingdom. They had been busy quite a bit lately because their kingdom was poor and none of their children had been married to help the kingdom expand. The king and queen's children ranged from the ages of 20 to 8. Their oldest was their daughter, Jasmine, who was 20 and almost 21. Their second oldest was their son, Nicholas, who was 18. Amalie was their third child and was 17 years old.  Their fourth child was Cassandra who had just turned 16, Cassandra was Amalie's best friend and she felt as if she could tell her anything. Their fifth child was Daniel, who was two years younger than his sister Cassandra. Then there was Abegail who was the quietest of all the siblings and was 10 years old. The youngest was Samantha, which was 8 years old. So as you can tell Amalie had a lot to compete with. But she would later learn that having 7 other brothers and sisters would be the least of her problems.
