This story is a work in progress, but I think that posting it on here will really help motivate me to finish. It's the first book I've written on wattpad, but I've written (not completed) dozens and dozens before. I've been writing for years, but I'm still not perfect.
Escape has sexual themes that not everyone will be comfortable with. I'm not a personal victim of rape, but I've learned so much about it and have heard many stories. I've been sitting on a story like this for a long time, so I've been researching since about last year. If you are a victim of rape, this story is not to exploit such tragedies, just to open others' eyes to what people really go through. Ava may not react just like you, but I am definitely trying (and hopefully succeeding) at making it as realistic as possible. Thank you, and please comment!
