She went to her living room only to found a beautiful redhead in leather lounged in her couch

“Nice to know that my friend is still alive,” she drawled when she saw the redheaded beauty

The woman just raised her eyebrows and raised the wine glass that she hold at her, “This one is good”

“Seriously? It’s still in the middle of the day and you already sitting there drinking my wine?”

“Come on, there isn’t a rule that prohibited one from drinking in the middle of the day”

Cherrie massaged her head, “Where are Nate and Carl?”

“Don’t know, they went out after they see me”

She sighed, “Forget it, more importantly, where were you all this time?” giving in to the urge to question her, Cherrie sat at her couch, stared at her friends

“South America”

“You broke your promise”

“I know, but I can’t settle down, yet,” she said flatly

“And you know that we’re just worried about you”

“Which you know that there’s no need for that”

Cherrie sighed, before things she said earlier dawned on her, “Wait, South America? What are you doing there?”

“The usual, classified things,” she smirked at her annoyed face and dawned the rest of the wine

“Sure it is,” she scoffed, “that’s it?”

“What do you hope?”

“I thought that you went because of the adrenaline rush?” she fished

She pretended to think about it but the smirked back at her lips, “That too, but this time I met a man”

“Scorching hot?”

“Gorgeous, yes, or more like drop dead gorgeous in masculine way, not like some Hollywood actors,” she poured wine into her glass and leaned in the wall

“Your type?”

The redhead tilted her head and sipped her wine, “No”

“Then why are you mentioning it to me?” more fishy things, Cherrie thought

“I thought he’s your type,” she said slyly, “but, you have to go and marry that man Liam,” she shrugged, “Never understand women taste nowadays”

“You are also a woman, and would you stop drink my wine?”

“You don’t have beer in here, beside, it’s a good wine and I need it when you dropped your taste to somebody like Liam Salvatore,” she said Liam name like it was new a word and she wasn’t sure how to pronounce it

“My taste aren’t dropping, it’s just you,” Cherrie said, started to feel irritated with her friend

“What? You’re defending him? Wow”

“Stop it Jade,”

“Why? It’s fun”

“You really have to fixed your definition of fun”

“Do I? It’s relative anyway,” she smirked

“I don’t think it is when it’s in my expense”

“So, it okay if it’s not in your expense?” Jade raised her eyebrows

Cherrie chuckled at her, “You know it’s depend, anyway, it’s good to have you back”
