Not So Pretty Arrangement

“Yep”

“How could you arrange something that quick?” Cherrie looked at Vee, her eyes narrowed in suspicion. Despite her careful observation, she couldn’t find anything in Vee innocent face, well, she must be pretty good at her poker face, she thought. Still, since she didn’t have any proof, she didn’t say anything yet

“A little favor from several friends,” Vee said easily and looked at her, “are you sure you don’t want to have a big, frivolous wedding?”

Cherrie looked at her as though she was insane, “Are you out of your mind? I don’t even want to have this wedding if I don’t have to”

Vee sighed, “Alright, then we should just have to finish this,” she looked at her, “then I’ll expect you two days from now in there, okay?”

“Got it”

Two days later Cherrie stands outside one of the chapel in Tuscany, any moment now, she would open the door and walked in the aisle. She didn’t invite anyone for her so called wedding, instead, she had her brothers, Jade, and Cassandra along with Vee sat as her audience

She eyed her dress and sighed, the dress was beautiful, as would be expected by Cass, but still, she never imagined that she would do whatever it is she was doing right there, and the groom calmness. For heaven sake, he was supposed to reject the arrangement! Not to supported it!

And now there she is, waiting outside of the chapel to wait for her friend to tell her when she is supposed to make her entrance

“Cher, are you ready?”

She rolled her eyes at the excited voice of Cass, “Please, do tell me what to be ready for, this is only for photo sake, as simple as that,” she grumbled

“It’s still something to be excited for, come on”

Rolling her eyes, she made her entrance and had to stifle a laugh at the priest who acted as the one to marry them, he clearly didn’t agree with the whole thing, but after some persuading, she guessed, they were able to persuade him

As for Liam, well, he was ravishing, if she was to be honest, although she would never tell him that, “Hi, gorgeous”

“Why, you seem to be enjoying this,” she whispers sarcastically at hm

“Of course, why won’t I?”

She raised her eyebrow, “You are the one who talk about marriage and being a prisoner”

“I did, but it’s in the past”

Her eyebrows shot skyward, “What? Don’t tell me that you are actually considered it”

“I’m not become younger by the year,” he reminded her, “and nor do you”

She glared at him and opened her mouth for another come back, but Vee cut her, “Would you two mind to proceed? You know, you could always get married for real if you two get along so well,” she murmured, earning some chuckle for all the audience

Cherrie glared at her, her eyes promise retribution, “Right, what are we supposed to do now?” she hissed under her breath so only Liam could heard her

He chuckled, “Let’s see, ah, right, where’s your ring?”

She gave it to him without saying anything, and he grinned at her, “Here darling, let me put this in your finger,” she could tell that he was enjoying teasing her, that jerk

“Could you be serious for once?”

“I am, now,” he said with a serious face and glanced at Vee, “this is what we supposed to do, right?” when she nodded, he glanced back at her with the I-told-you look in his handsome face
