she stared endlessly at the wall. "Georgia. Answer question 24." she blinked, pulling her out of her daze. she quickly flipped to page 15 where she found questions 22-26. she glanced down the row to find the question. "a-46=93" "what is A?" she heard Ms. Miller say. Georgia covered her face with her hands. "Georgia, stay after class with me, will you?" she nodded shyly. to get her mind off of how much of an idiot she made herself look, she wrote "Georgia Young" in big, fancy letters around the edges of her paper. no more than twenty seconds later, the bell rang. as other students ran and hurried to the door, she tied her jacket around her waist. Ms. Miller came over to her desk. "I've been hearing some complaints from your other teachers. Apparently math isn't the only thing you've been struggling with lately. Is there something that's been bothering you?" "No sir-er- ma'am" Georgia choked. Ms. Miller smiled as her fifth period class filed in. "Goodbye, Ms. Young"
