From a Duo to a Trio : the first year

Thankful For you

" oh My God" he said

He picked her up and went down stairs fast yet careful

"ALLY! ALLY! ALLY!" He called

" what?" She panicked

" GUESS WHAT!" he said

" oh hey Trish, hey Max!" He greeted him

" what's up with you?" Trish asked " gimme my baby"

Trish cooed and kissed the baby

" Ava just smiled at me, not once, BUT TWICE!!" He said

" What?" Ally said " no way!"

" SHE DID I SWEAR! I was just talking to her and she just smiled and went ' goo'.." he said " but a lot cuter!"

" really?" Ally said " well make her smile again"

Austin smiled at his daughter " can you smile? Ava can I get another smile?"

Ava gave him a blank expression

" come on! I'm not crazy.." he smiled at her again

Again no smile

" she's messing with me.." he said

" maybe she didn't smile.." Trish said

" she did! I swear!" Austin said

" okay, honey come on let's get dressed now that Trish is here" ally said

" ally I swear she smiled! Like twice, while I was getting her dressed it was the cutest smile ever.. don't you believe me?" He asked

She fixed his tie " I believe that you're insane for still obsessing over it, until I see her do it my self then I don't believe you"

He sighed " that's annoying.. she's messing with me.. and I know it"

" honey she's a baby, she's not messing with you" ally assured him

" there, all done.. man you look so handsome" she smiled at him and held his waist

" this is not the time to get into my pants.." he joked

She smiled and touched his face " uh who said I wanted to get into your pants?"

" you don't gotta say it" he smiled and winking at her

She and took his hand " come on I think more people are here"

At the table sat their closet friends and family

Which all obsessed over how cute the baby was

" so how's everyone's week?" Austin asked

" you are so cute.." Mimi cooed at the baby

" how was the flight dad?" Ally asked

" great now that I can see my baby girl" Lester cooed

" Dez, Carrie? Wedding planning?" Austin asked

They two were drawn to the baby

Ava began to pout in her swing

" I'LL GET HER" the guests said

" no, I'll get her.." ally said picking her up

" Trish come with me.." ally said Trish got up and followed her to Ava's bedroom

" okay so.. Austin is taking me out on a date for my birthday, and I was wondering if you can babysit?" Ally asked

And without hesitation " YES! I will!"

" okay.. good.. thanks I know it's short notice, but..."

" of course! I'm so happy you asked if I can watch my Goddaughter I would love too!!" Trish said excitedly

" aw that's great!" Ally said

Meanwhile in wine room Austin too was asking Dez a favor

" so ally and I are going on a date for her birthday and I want it to be super special.. no baby, just the two of us..super romantic and everything, and I want you to watch Ava for us.. with Carrie of course what do you say?" Austin said

" as my Duty as her God father slash favorite uncle I will not let you down!" Dez said proudly

" cool thanks.." Austin said sipping his wine

" speaking of romantic, how is things going in that department" Dez asked sipping

Austin automatically smiled then sipped his wine then rose his eyebrows

" oooooooooh" Dez smiled

" we're back baby!" Austin said still smiling slyly

" it's freaking amazing." Ally said " the first time in a long time and god.. it was so good more than good, we had to keep quiet because of the baby sleeping in my room, but god" she said closing her eyes

" wow.." Trish said " speaking of good.. Max is...."

They both sighed

" I'm having a show soon would you two be able to come?" Trish asked

" of course!" Ally said " I'm so excited your playing in La!"

They hugged

Back at the table

" okay let's go around and say what we're thankful for!" Ally said

" I'll start..." Dez said " I'm so thankful for my Carrie, my movie being nominated for an award! And of course for everyone in this room especially baby Ava"

" I'm thankful for my Dezzie, this ring, my Milan shoot and for my family and friends!!" Carrie said

" I'm thankful for my husband, my amazing son and his sweet little family.. and for our granddaughter" Mimi said

" I'm thankful for this delicious food, our mattress that had made business go crazy since our Littlest model slept on it.. and of course our family and friends I love you all" mike said

" I'm so thankful for my daughter.. and everything she's accomplish, I'm so happy she found her better half and gave us all the most beautiful baby in the world" Lester said

" okay I'm thankful, for my career and everyone here, and just life in general" Trish said

" I'm thankful for my beautiful Trish" Max said

" oh baby.." Trish said

" I'm so thankful for everyone here.. I'm so thankful for music and sharing it with everyone .. I'm especially thankful for my daughter who did smile! And I'll prove it.. I'm so happy she was born, and everyday we wake up next to her is honestly the greatest feeling ever. Most of all I'm so thankful for my partner in life.. for which none of this would have happen." Austin smiled at Ally

He took her hand

" I'm thankful for everyone here too.. I'm so grateful for how life turned out.. if I told my younger self this is how I'd end up, I wouldn't believe it.. but I love you, and I love our daughter.. and For that I'm endlessly thankful" she kissed his cheek

They all enjoyed their first thanksgiving with their newest addition.
