August 8, 2162. Humans by now had inhabited the moon, and had a small group to test the conditions of Mars for habitability. They had been there for 20 years. By now, humanity had moved on to its next project throughout the universe. Venus. As our Sister planet, it only made sense if we tested its habitability. A while back, before the space age, and now the techno age, humans thought that Venus was covered in lush forests, and rolling oceans, with a habitable climate and maybe even intelligent life. Now, we've discovered that instead it is similar to something straight from the underworld. Due to greenhouse gases and its atmosphere, the planet is highly uninhabitable for humans.

The take off would be the worst part, but after that the crew and the rest of us could float around freely, with our training in mind, as the trip itself would take roughly 100 days.
