The teardrops run down,
And fall off her nose,
She cries in dark corners,
Where nobody goes,
You can follow the tracks,
From her eyes to her chin,
Years upon years,
Of letting them win,
And her eyes tell a story,
Of anger and pain,
You think that she's happy,
But just look again,
And the scars of her past,
Hidden under her clothes,
Are a roadmap to places,
That nobody knows,
Her smile is now painted,
She's a master of disguise,
And you can see it all,
Just look into her eyes."

He picked me up by the waist so I was laying across his lap. Tears rushing down his face, "Please, don't go! You're all I have left!" Then my mind drifted away, falling into a deep, dark, dreamless sleep.
I slowly blinked my eyes open at the light that shone over me, I tried to get up but collapsed on a soft, fluffy object.
Maybe it's a bed? BUT WHOSE?!
Once again I tried to get up, using all of my strength, luckily I was able to lift myself enough to get a glimpse of where I was. The room around me was very large, it had double doors, a very big window, and a black desk.
After I felt my arms starting to get weak I fall hoping to land on the bed but I don't.
"Ahhh!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as I plunged onto the floor. Next thing I knew I felt this sharp pain in my left rib. Everything went dark.
"Why can't we just kill her now?"
"She may have good information, that's why."
"Who is she anyway?"
"I believe her name is Adelina Woods. At least I think."
"When is she going to wake up I'm tired of waiting?"
I could her numerous voices talking, but I couldn't see anything, it was all black.
"W-Where am I?" I croaked as I tried to open my eyes and I tried grabbing anything around me. I soon felt this warm thing that I had grabbed, it jerked away and I still couldn't open my eyes.
"Oh my, she's awake! Oh honey you are-" The woman's voice was then cut off by a cold and ruthless voice.
"You don't ask the questions here, we do." The voice was almost as cold as the arctic air around me. I then opened my eyes a crack and saw the coldest face staring down at me. Which wasn't pretty hard because the man was like 6 foot 2 and I was laying on a bed, well I think a bed.
The man had dark sea-green eyes, they froze me in place, and perfect jet-black hair. His face, it looked as if it was chiseled into a mountainside, it was cold, lifeless, mesmerizing. He was very powerfully built, you could see his muscles from underneath his suit. Then there was a woman, standing next to him, ever so close, practically touching. This woman was a little shorter than the man, she has hazel eyes and blonde hair.
"Oh honey," she came running up to me and grabbed my face gently, "I am so sorry you have to be here, I promise we won't kill you, I swear! But Chance is being ever so cold and he won't let you go! I swear you will be alright!" This woman was insane! I tried to make her release her grip but it was no use.
"L-let g-," I felt a large jolt of pain come from my ribs as I screamed at the top of my lungs, "Ahh!" I quickly clutches my stomach and the woman let go almost immediately. Another person came to my side but I couldn't tell who it was because everything started spinning and my eyes shut.
