i watched joy hide her bag of tteokbokki crackers inside her desk (which made me feel hungrier than when i had left the house) and stood up from her desk with me.
i met joy exactly a month ago. i liked her. she was quite pretty, too. i'm not a liar, so i'll let you know- i guess i would like to know her better.
i took the flash-drive containing our presentation out of my jean pocket, and my hand shook. i was horrible at talking to crowds.
and i guess joy saw,
so she looked up at me
and smiled
and told me
"i think we'll do well"
i knew she lied.
