More Than A Missing Person

Chapter One

The sound of the clock ticking was driving me crazy I anxiously tap my foot and fidget in my seat watching the clock tick. The bell rang and I shot up from my chair and pushed passed other students earning a few remarks from the other students I ignore them and push into the hallway it was like a beehive buzzing with the excitement of kids wanting to go home I don't bother going to my locker I walk out the front doors of the school and the cool crisp October air hits me in the face. As I start to walk away from that school I feel my stress melt from my mind I walk down the sidewalk and look at all the stores all the people I look at everything taking in the world. I cross the street and walking the park and then i walk into the woods i follow the path and right too the old willow tree i turn right and walk until I can hear them laughing I smile as I approach our hangout It was just old picknick tables chairs tires, whatever we could find, made into our second home. I climb up onto the old tire swing that i loved to sit on and i look to see who all was here so far. kyle was sitting on the picknick table he was well built and tall he was very popular with the girls, with his short messy brown hair and his piercing blue eyes, he was tall for only being 17, the second oldest in our group. Next to him was Lillith she was a very shy girl it takes a while for her to open up with anyone her long black hair was in two braids showing all the freckles on her face and had brown eyes that complemented her slender face and her round glasses and she, of course, had her nose in a book as we were waiting for everyone else to come. In the middle of the tables was dan he was attempting to start a bonfire he was slender and he was also well built like Kyle he had short black hair and hazel eyes he had his beanie on he was very handsome like kyle. when it came to me I was given the name Sara, I was an averaged sized girl I always had my medium brown in in a messy ponytail and my amber eyes were always bright and my body was covered from head to toes on freckles. " those three better hurry up" Kyle yelled in the woods laughing  he head a lighter smooth voice " Ok don't get your panties in a bunch" we hear a female voice call then we hear laughter.Jace and Remy walk up holding hands. remy had beautiful mocha skin and she had curly shorter hair with charcoal eyes and she was small and curvy and her boyfriend Jace had dark brown skin and he had short braids in and he was very muscular him and Remy had been dating since the 8th grade.  remy runs over and hugs me " I missed all of you guys," she said smiling " we all saw you last weekend," Lillith said softly. " yea and that was like so long ago" Remy retorted " look who finally showed up," Dan said I look over and see Julia her red curly hair and her emerald green eyes shined as she smiled her gap in her two front teeth showed. She had on the necklace that she wore every day and I smile at her " sorry im late guys I got caught up with work" she apologized. " Its fine Julia" Dan said finally getting a fire started. I look at Julia her normally tan skin seem paler she seems off. I push this thought to the back of my mind im just over analyzing things. I shake my head and turn my attention back to the group. I smile feeling relaxed we all talked and talked like we had every Friday, we would laugh so hard we snort and then laugh because one of us snorted. As the sky started to change into a rainbow of colors we put out the fire and started the walk back to Remy's house, it as her week to host the sleepover, we all started the 10-minute walk through the woods, it as like an endless maze but we all know it by heart, we finally approach Remy's backyard Remy unlocked her door and we all head to her bedroom, which was in the basement, we walk down the steps and everyone goes to their usually spot remy and jace lay on her bed remy has the t.v remote in her hand as she looks for a horror movie on netflix. kyle Lillith me and dan all sit on the couch in front of the t.v and Julia sits on the huge bean bag that was on the floor next to the couch. the same thought I had earler came creeping back into my head julia seems off. "who wants to run upstairs and grab the soda" jace askes " ill do it, sara will you help lillith" asks I nod my head and I gert up off the couch we walk upstairs and I grab cups and lillith grabs the soda " hey sara I dont know if im just seeing things but, does julia seem diffrent, like shes upset of somthing" lillith asked hesitating "I thought I was the only onw who noticed it"I said glad I wasent overreacting " mabey she just had a bed day at work or somthing" I say trying to reassure me and her. we grabbed the cups and we walk back downstairs. we ended up watching a bunch of movies. I don't remember falling asleep " guys wake up" I hear someone yell my eyes flutter open as I try to see the light in the room is blinding I look and see that I fell asleep on dan my head was on his chest and his arm was around my shoulder I sit up quick with my face slighted red I could hear dan give a sleepy chuckle "guys Julia is missing and the back door was smashed in" Jace yelled we all jump up and scramble up stairs lillith was gripping on to kyle as we walked we stepped over the broken glass we could see glass leading out of the house Remy ran out the back " Julia!" she screamed into the woods " im calling 911" kyle said taking out his phone I stepped out with remy, jace and dan followed we looked for any sign of julia we could hear lillith crying in side our heads perked up when we hear peolice syrens. I could feel the blood drain from my face as I could hear Julia scream from the woods the loudest blood-curdling scream ever. Dan and Jace stepped in front of me and Remy I tried to run into the woods but Dan grabbed me " the police are here we cant go in there" he said as I see the red and blue flashing lights I saw several officers run past us into the woods they tould us to go inside but I couldn't hear them everything was muffled I started to cry and pulled me into a hug and he lead me inside he sat me on the couch. wwe all looked at eachother all of us were in shock.
