"Sapphira Miles! How many times have I told you to never eat in my class!"
Every single person's gaze fixed itself on me. Great. What a beautiful to start the day. I felt my cheeks flush as I hear snickers from my classmates. Slowly I tucked the bag of Doritos into my backpack and wiped my hands on my pants. Mrs. Garrison nodded, satisfied that I have now put away the food. She continued to read Chapter 2 from "The Great Gatsby". I swear that woman hates me. I have never done anything to her! Sure, she gives me really good grades for an AP Lit student, but still her very strict ways irk me. Yes "irk" is a word that I have learned in this class. Dont judge me. Also, I cant help being hungry! I never eat breakfast, I would rather spend those fifteen minutes of breakfast sleeping.
"God, Sapphira do you never stop eating?"
I rolled my eyes. I did not need this right now. I turned to Kaley and gave her the fakest smile that I could muster.
"Kaley Christine Vanderson, I do not need you to advice me about eating. I would rather be fat then be a walking stick like you."
Giggles filled the class after I roasted Kaley. Her open mouth is the most priceless thing that I have ever seen in my life. Her cheeks turned as red as tomatoes as she tried to muster a comeback. God I hated this girl. First of all me and her used to be best friends. I know right? Now she has climbed the stairs of popularity leaving me in the rubble. Instead of treating me like a friend she now treats me like a contagious disease.
"Sapphira Miles, if you do not stop talking then you will be sent to Mr. Anderson's office. Do you understand?"
I sank in my chair and nodded. Mr. Anderson is the principal of this school. Morone High school. No it's not Moron High School, though many of us call it that. Oh, and on top of that guess what our school mascot is. A mustang? No. A lion? Not even close. A donkey? Ding! Ding! You have just won the million dollar question! Yup our mascot is a donkey. We are the Morone Donkeys. Not only are we known to competing schools as Moron High School we are also known as jackasses! What high luck we have! I looked to Mrs. Garrison, I wonder what she thought of all of us. I turned and took a survey of my 1st period AP Lit class. What did all of these people think of?
Mrs. Garrison:
What the hell am I doing with my life? None of these teenagers are even paying attention to what I am reading. I looked to the left corner of the class and sighed. God help the parents of that girl Sapphira Miles. Her grades do not at all reflect her class personality. She has A's in all of her classes. And to be honest she writes the best essays in the class, but she always gets on my nerves.
Thank you guys so much for reading I really appreciate it! I will continue writing this! Comment below if you have any comments or feedback!
