I died today.
I don't know how else to explain it.
He hooked me.
I haven't felt pain like it. It was... Excruciating. Pain and horror raced through every inch of my body, every nerve, spreading like wildfire. Part of me wanted to be brave. Part of me wanted to stick it out and just pull myself off, attempt to escape so nobody would have to put themselves in danger. I tried so hard. But the more the fire spread, the more the hook tore, and the more the Entity reached for me, the harder it was to resist. I can barely remember the scream that forced its way from my lungs. It was all I could hear and yet I was deaf to it at the same time. Just like the heartbeat that was pulsing in my ears. Claudette tried to help me, but his trap caught her before he could.
I can't sleep. Every time I close my eyes I see it all over again.
