childs play

being with you makes me feel like a child again
and the child within me wants you to be my friend
you make me giggle and laugh
but emotions change rather fast
because when you yell, it makes me want to cry
and the tears always well when you lie
when you see my lip quiver
and the tears flowing like rivers
you soften your voice but roll your eyes
you say your sorry and my mind starts buzzing like flys
and I believe you until next time
and even then I'll tell you I'm fine
and I realize that when your smile dims
this is game of child's play that I just can't win
