After break had ended, which consisted of me walking around the halls trying to find my locker where thank fully I found it in the end, I headed to music, one of my all-time favourite things in the world.

I entered the classroom where upon only a couple of students were bumbling around waiting for class to start and the rest of us to come in. I went and sat at the back corner hoping that nobody would disrupt me.

After about five minutes the teacher finally arrived, she looked quite young but experienced.

"Hello class welcome, I'm your teacher this year and my name is Miss Taylors." She then paused for a minute, looking at a piece of paper and then said the dreaded words," I see that we have a new student, Roxy why don't you introduce yourself", I wanted to die right there on the spot but neither the less stood up.

"Hi my name is Roxy Stor-"I then got interrupted by a whirlwind of a blonde that rushed into the room. What is it with people and being late in this school?

"Sosorrymisstaylorsididntmeantobelatebutigotcalledtotheprinciplesofficetotalkabouttheschooleventscomingup", rushed out a very flustered petit blonde girl.

"Eliza why don't you take a deep breath and repeat what you just said", said a calm Miss Taylors

She took a deep breath and said, " I'm so sorry Miss Taylors I didn't mean to be late but I got called to the principal's office so we could discuss the school events coming up, please don't give me a detention"

Miss Taylors chuckled a bit, "Eliza don't worry I'm not giving you detention, just take a seat"

"Okay thanks Miss", squeaked a quite embarrassed Eliza.

Miss Taylors then started taking the register clearly forgetting about my introduction however Eliza didn't exactly know where to sit as the only seats, where otherwise near some weird looking kids or by me, so I decided to make a friend.

"Hey Eliza" I said nodding my head to the seat on my left, she happily saw it, smiled and sat down.

"Hey, Roxy right?" she excitedly said turning towards me.

"Yeah how did you know?" I replied quite surprised that she knew my name.

"Well news travels fast round here, and so I guessed you were Roxy because you are new and people are saying that a new girl stole Kenzie's spot this morning, good job on that by the way" she stated quite happily.

"Ummm thanks", I replied quite astounded and confused

Noticing my face Eliza said, "Don't worry people are saying all good things, because if you ask me Mackenzie is a real bitch", she said making both of us chuckle a bit, lightning the atmosphere.

"In all fairness I wasn't worried it's more of the fact that it's amazing how fast the news travelled", I said, still quite astounded.

"Hey why don't you come and sit with me and my friend at lunch? Unless you already have people to sit with"

"That would be brilliant, you don't even realise" I said lightly laughing and breathing a sigh of relief that I won't be alone at lunch.

For the rest of the lesson, it was filled with me and Eliza talking and giggling and being shushed by Miss Taylors, as she explained what we were doing this year.

After music, Eliza and I walked to my locker to drop off my stuff as she explained to me the cliché seating arrangements in the canteen, which I have actually never experienced before because in England cliché's just never happened.
