Lauren's POV
I wake up and feel awesome I was excited to see Colby today but I felt as if my stomach has caved in, and my heart deflated when I remembered what happened yesterday. I dragged myself out of bed, down my wooden stairs and into the kitchen.
Mom- HI SUNSHINE or should I say dark side...
Caleb and Taylor laughed
L- why tease me? Caleb and Taylor are the ones that should be teased. And Taylor I have dirt on you, not even dirt, soil on you because that's how good it is.
T- um maybe we should stop teasing her, she seems like she's had a rough day.
We all died. Oof.
We all finished our breakfast and head out the door. We jumped in my brothers other car which was a red Ford F-150. He hit the gas hard and took off really fast pining Taylor and I to the seats. He dropped me off.
C- bye sis!
L- LEARN HOW TO DRIVE!
then he left. I saw Colby and Heather talking then Colby looked at me and starting shoveling through students to talk to me, I grouched down making sure he wouldn't see me I felt a soft hand touch mine I glanced back and saw him. DARN IT! There was no hiding from this boy.
C- Hey Lauren,
L- oh...Hey Colby.. um I actually have to go->
C- Why are you avoiding me?
L- I'm not....
C-You are!
L- Fine you want to know what's wrong?
C-Yes!
L- Heather is treating me like crap and told me to stay away from you!
C- I'm sor-
L- Don't be!
I walk away shoving my shoulder into his. The bell rang, and it was 1st period, I looked around and took a seat someone looked at me and gave me a note, I read the note and it said.
Dear Lauren,
I'm so sorry for the way I treated you I was frustrated because I actually like you and I thought you were ignoring me. I was scared that we were not friends anymore, but anyway I'll make it up to you by this party that I got invited to. I want you to come please don't decline because of heather who cares about her.
