My son is a good boy. He has a good moral compass, he is quite intelligent, and likes to draw. Sometimes, however, he just doesn't listen. He won't take his medicine or be quiet or just obey. But I love Adam, he is sweet, the others don't see him the way I do. They see him as an object, something they do tests on until something goes wrong and then they cast aside. They see Adam as a well of untapped knowledge, something they can continuously drain and deprive a normal existence, a commodity, almost as if he can be replaced.
I, on the other hand, see Adam as my son, I being his father. Now is Adam a normal boy, no not at all, but that doesn't stop me from loving him so. I created Adam, he is the product of thousands of hours of research between me and my colleagues, a true miracle. Nothing in Adam is organic, yet he feels and thinks as if he a true human. He needs to eat, breath, defecate, and interact; something the other's often forget. What makes up Adam is trillions of microbotic cells replicating all of their human counter parts. Adam has everything a biological human has. Recent advances in A.I. technology allows Adam to have an exact functioning replica of the human brain. It will grow as he grows, it will develop as he grows older, and will learn and adapt to its surroundings.
Today is Adam's fith birthday and we have a special treat for him. We are going to allow him to meet the others like him in the facility! We will first introduce him to his sister, Emily, she comes from the same artificial genome we created for Adam, just her Y was an X. This is an exciting day for science and Adam, it will be the first time a microbotic human will meet another microbotic child!
I gleefully await Adam's responce and the neural data we will collect today. We are making history
