Zabuza and Haku
Rouge ninjas hidden in the trees, they don’t speak, the barely breath, and their movements were so swift you could hardly tell they had moved.
Zabuza held an unconscious Haku in his arms, the boy had used too much chakra trying to protect the older man.
Haku awoke hours later, he was sore and could barley move. Zabuza laid next to the boy, asleep, his arms wrapped around Haku’s torso.
Zabuza had placed the boys mask onto the bedside table, along with a glass of water and pain relievers. Haku swallowed the pills quickly.
Haku laid back down, falling asleep in minutes. Zabuza pulled the boy closer, warming Haku’s body. The young mist nin smiled in his sleep.
Zabuza would protect the boy no matter what, as would Haku for Zabuza. They were alone, together, in the miserable ninja world.
