Melissa was a lively girl...
"I always wanted to play the flute"
"Really? Okay then I will buy one for you!"
"Thank you so much!"
He carefully chose the flute for her daughter. "How about this?"
"It looks even better in person!!"
"Yes.. it really does.." he gave the flute to Melissa. "Here! It's all yours!"
"Thank you again!!"
That was one of the most precious time she had with her father.
Until...
"Please don't leave me! Please wake up! Please! I don't want you to go!!"
"Dear.. you're father wouldn't want to see you like this"
She wiped tears away and tried to give a soft smile. "I hope he will received it"
From that day onwards, she never touched the flute again because it reminds her the memories of her father, which made her cried every time."
This soon turned in to fear.
(Lily)
"Come on why can't you just play the flute today in school?!"
(Melisa)
"I don't want to"
(Lily)
"Why??? You used to like playing your flute."
(Melisa)
"I just don't want to..."
(Lily)
"Come on Mel, we are friends aren't we??"
(Melisa)
"We are, it's just that..."
(Lily)
"How can I help you when you don't want to talk to me in person?!"
(Melisa)
"I just need sometime alone."
(Lily)
"Okay, if you need me, I will be in the house next door."
"I wish I could tell how I felt but the words just doesn't want to come out of me..."
She stroll down the river path which leads to an open area where she used to play at. The memories still hurts like it was haunting her.
You see her walking back and fort uncomfortably, "something is bothering her."
"I don't know what to do!!" She suddenly collapsed to the flower bed with her hand on her head.
"I want to let go of it, I want to let go of the past but I couldn't !!"
Her mother decide to send her to the city in Paris. To keep her mind out of the pain.
"Are you sure you will be alright being alone here in this town?"
"Don't worry about me! Think about yourself, okay?" She leaned closer and gave her a hug.
"It felt warm like always."
"You slowly see her departing to her new life in the city, she waved goodbye to her mother."
"Where can life take me next? Perhaps some where I don't want to be in."
