Immediately after John says that I look up and sure enough Lucas is glaring at me with extreme concentration as if trying to strangle me with his eyes. I duck behind the island-bar thing we have in our kitchen and looking around for some shelter or ammo, something to protect me. The other boys, of course, are just standing there in the back ground watching the whole thing play out. It’s that moment that I realize that I am right in front of the baking cupboards and mini built in fridge. Quickly I grab the flour, eggs, orange juice, and chocolate sauce, still hiding them under the counter.

“Oh, come on, Lucas. You know I was only kidding, you’re like a big brother to me. If I lost you I would feel so depressed,” his gaze softens then and he gives me a small smile. I smile back, but, then I just had to go running my mouth. “Besides, then who would I have to mess with?” His face reddens and he advances towards me.

“Ahhhhhh!!!” I scream, close my eyes, and blindly chuck the food at him. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry!” I yell. I open my eyes to see the guy drenched in food and I have to stifle my laughter. This, however does not go unnoticed as Lucas then gets a devious smile on his face.

My eyes widen. “No. No!” I shriek, running from the room. He chases me into the living room and grabs me into a giant bear hug rubbing all the stickiness and flour all over me. I struggle pushing his body away from me and cross my arms with a pout on my face. “Lucas!”

“You asked for it,” he chuckles.

Suddenly the front door of the pack house bursts open and all chatter immediately stopped as the pack looked at what I’m assuming is us. I’m not sure though, because I was to busy glaring at the meal covered boy standing in front of me.
