Prologue

I tried. I tried so hard, yet still he doesn't want me. Neither does he, or her, or the rest of them either for that matter. But you know what fine. If my parents don't want me, I have my pack. If my pack doesn't want me, I have my mate. If my mate doesn't want me, well, then I have no one. That is when I have to leave.

So I did. I ran to my room, and grabbed the few things that I do have. I grabbed my laptop, ipod, clothes, an extra pair of tennis shoes, and my phone. Then, while everyone is off partying, I left. I took off into the night, only to be found by the alpha of the Firelight pack. Now here I am five years later, and a changed girl. I'm no longer the weak, chubby, little girl who ran away from everything. I'm sexy, tough, sarcastic, and I tell it like it is. I am Gemini Carter and anyone who messes with me is going to regret it big time.
