I'm not really going to bother with the intro (who reads them anyway?) Except but say that my name's Lucky and I really enjoy making edits. I also share this account with Jazz and they are an amazing Editor, We hope you enjoy this book and that it helps you in some way. - Hey I'm Jazz! You probably won't read this but whatever. I was the 'founder' of this account and brought it up to Lucky one day and she agreed to help me! So here we are. Lucky did the first paragraph and I edited and did the rest, so enjoy!

Apps
When it comes to picking an app it can be hard. For example you have to have the right cropping tool, Filters, Fonts - The list could go on. But some of them really stand out from the others. In this chapter, Jazz and I will share with you some pointers on some graphic apps that can help. These are all free (unless specified so) and are highly recommended (depending on what edit you would like to make)
1. PicsArt

If you haven't heard of PicsArt you must be crazy! Its an editing app built in with its own community for sharing edits and getting feedback! You can also enter in Graphic competitions weekly, and join in on some trending hashtags.
What we like
While no app is perfect, PicsArt definitely comes close to it. It has a nice simple layout, the filters are amazing and the range of stickers are helpful if you want to make clip art! It also comes with the communities picks of free non-copyrighted images if you don't feel like scrolling through pixilated google images.
What we don't like
While PicsArt is know for its great photo shopping skills, it lacks in various other things. The fonts are recognizable as PicsArt phonts. I look at most books and say "That was definitely made with PicsArt". Another complaint about the fonts is the fact that they are HEAPS pixilated! You don't want to ruin your great cover by putting unappealing squares on the front. Instead, download another app specifically for fonts (which we are going to talk about now).
2. Phonto

Phonto is a highly recommended app for adding fonts (text) to your graphics. You could edit in PicsArt, but then export it to Photo and add the text there.
What we like
The hundreds of varieties of fonts! Plus, they are all free. They come out looking pretty swell! You can also change the colour of each letter to make an appealing colour swatch. It also comes with pre-made swatches.
What we don't like
As unfortunately most Android users know, we are limited to features. On I Phone Phonto, you can add shapes to your edits, unlike on Android you can only add text. This won't be a problem if you use IOS. A lot of the time once you export in Phonto, it DOES come out pixilated. Other times it doesn't.
Special Note
However, there are ways to get a wider range of fonts. Dafont.com is a great website used for fonts. In the next chapter we will provide a tutorial.
3. Wattpad Covers

Before anyone attacks me, I have reasons to back up why I like this app.
What we like
Your covers are cropped to exactly the right size for Wattpad stories and its stored conveniently all in one place, just in case you delete the file on your device.
What we don't like
The fonts are too recognizable, the stock images are too overused, and the filters are fairly boring. This app is useless if you want to actually make a good edit. You should only use this for Wattpad covers, but you do you boo!
