Idk if you just have a wooden ladder lying around, I guess you could buy one. If it is old, make sure its smooth wood, and sand down the ladder. You can paint it whatever color you like. When you find a place you want to place the ladder on your wall, screw it in these three places:

Then its yours to admire, once you're finished. It really does look nice and modern, and its cheaper and more efficient then have to buy a new dresser.
