The Meteor

My team and I were driving down the highway in Denver. We were going to the new lab for the first time because the government wants us to experiment on the meteor that fell in New York. My team consists of me Andrea. I am 28. I'm about 5"4, have brown wavy hair that falls an inch past my shoulder. I graduated collage a few months ago with my new best friend Jackie. Jackie is about 5"6, has bleach blonde hair, she is a very preppy happy person. The final member is Colin. He is in his late 30s. He refuses to tell us his real age. He is 6"2, short black hair. He is always down and not very happy. It is like he is always annoyed. He has been with the company for 10 years now. He enjoys his work. We all got assigned to a top tier team to work on this top secret project.

There was this meteor that just appeared out of nowhere. When the meteor landed my team and I started speaking a hidden species. The government calls this species THE ONES. Every 27 years this happens they told us. When it happens they have to run tests one the 3 people it happens to. One of the tests they did was take a needle this size of a pencil and move your eye lids so that they can access the brain and revert us to our true form. We had no clue what was happening. They would just tell us it was going to be ok in the end. After they ran that test they would push the 3 of us into different tanks of water. They would shut these tanks so that the only air you can get is from the water. The first minute was painful. We didn't know how to breathe but after a few minutes we were just fine. We actually found out we could communicate but we didn't tell the government because we knew that that was our only way out. A few weeks later after they started us on the water tests they found more of us which was the first time they had found more.

When they started testing the new people. After a while of the tests on the new people got added to our tests. The government decided to add them into our experiment. When they did they didn't have enough tanks for everyone so they put everyone into a big tank. There was about 12 people in the tank. We found out that we could control our state of matter. We did this when the government wasn't looking at us or else they would discover that we could do that and kill most of us. We planned for months about when we were going to do this. We said that it was going to be in 2 days or during 2 tests from now. We also found out that if we did this we would become the water and escape. We didn't know where the pipe ended up we just hoped that it was some place that isn't in this lab.

Mind you they haven't let anyone do any tests on the meteor. We are trying to figure out why they won't let us but we think it is just a hoax. They also have created dorm rooms for us to stay in so that we won't tell anyone else in the world where we are and what we are doing. We think that they are afraid that they are going to kill us. If they kill us what will they tell our families and our friends.
