Chapter 14

Natalie's POV

I wake up to my alarm going off.

"I don't want to go." I say.

"2 more months. Then you'll be back for good." Ross says kissing me.

I get out of bed and take a quick shower.

I change into comfy clothes and go downstairs.

Ross is sitting at the table eating left over pizza.

"It's kinda all we have." He says.

I laugh.

"What are you going to do without me?"

"I'm not sure, but I'll find something to do."

I grab a piece of pizza and sit next to him at the table.

There's a knock on the door.

"It's me, mom." Stormie says.

Ross opens the door.

"I figured I would stop by and say goodbye." She says hugging me.

"Oh! And I brought some food. It's not much, but it's something to start you off with." She says handing Ross a bag.

"Thanks mom." He says hugging her.

"When do you leave?"

"We have to go in about an hour." I answer.

"Oh. Do you need anything?"

"No, I think we're good. Thanks though."

Stormie leaves after we show her around the house.

"Are you ready to go?" Ross asks.

"I guess."

We go to the airport. Ross stays with me until he can't go any further.

"I'm going to miss you." I cry.

He pulls me into a hug.

"Me to."

He pulls back a little and kisses me.

"I love you." He says.

"I love you more."

"Impossible."

I laugh and he kisses me again.

"Flight to Ohio now boarding." The lady over the speakers says.

"See you soon. I love you." I say walking away.

I board the plane and find my seat.

Once I'm seated, I place my hand on my stomach.

About 10 minutes later, the plane takes off.

I start to cry a little as we get further away.

I miss Ross already.
