Zara's POV
Today was just like any other day, my older brother, Zander, was trying to teach me how to use Facebook, but obviously, I was failing miserably.
I am not really a high tech person, so I have no idea how the internet works. If you ask me, it's pretty frustrating. Imagine being the only 16 year old girl, on earth, who doesn't know what Facebook is.
Just the other day; my best friend, Samantha, was talking about how many people she chatted with on Twetty, I mean Twitter.
But I seriously didn't know what Twitter is.
"Zara?" Zander calls my attention, "are you listening?"
I snapped back into reality, "Yeah." I lie.
"Then what was I talking about?" Zander asks.
"Ummm, about Facebook, I guess."
"You're not even listening, are you?"
"Why are you even trying to teach me this anyway?"
"I don't know, I---"
Before Zander's could finish his sentence, the telephone rang.
"Hello?" I ask into the phone.
"Hello? Can I talk to your mom?" The person answers.
"Ummm, yeah, who's this?"
"It's Samantha."
"Really? I miss you."
"Yeah, I miss you too. Now can I talk to your mother?
"Yeah, sure." I said.
"MOM!" I call, "The phone's for you!"
My mom takes the phone from my hands.
Zara's Mother's POV
I take the phone from my daughter.
"Hello auntie, this is Samantha." She said.
"Oh hello Samantha, what do you want to talk about?"
"I wanted to ask you if it was okay if Zara could travel with me."
"Where are you planning on going, dear?" I ask.
"Different places acctually, like Korea, Paris, China, and other places." She replied.
"Sure! And remember to keep her safe. I'm counting on you."
"Okay and thanks auntie." she thanked me, "Our plane leaves in 2 days."
"Bye."
"Bye!"
I turn my attention to my daughter, "Dear, you're gonna travel the world!"
(Note: Zara knows how to use the telephone.)
