Ross lied to Camilla, saying that she was going out with William when in fact, it was Josh. She knew Camilla disliked Josh after she found out that he was married to someone else. But Rossie didn't want anything or anyone stopping her from meeting her lover even though Ross had rarely seen Camilla in the house in the last few days.

Ross didn't have any idea where Camilla went, but she always left the house early in the morning, and she came back when it was almost midnight. But Ross didn't really care about that. Maybe this was good for Camilla; she should see another man after her husband dumped her.

Ross ran toward him with a wide smile playing on her face as she saw him waiting for her on the edge of the street. They agreed to meet there because Rossie didn't want him to be seen by Camilla. They hugged and kissed for a full fifteen minutes and neither one wanted to stop. People were watching them but they didn't care.

Josh was the first to pull himself back. "We're going to miss the train," he said, trying to control his breath. His hands were still cupping her face and their bodies were pressed into each other.

She nodded, her eyes still closed.

Josh took her hand and led her down to the MRT station. They stood side by side and neither of them talked as they waited for the train. The station was not as crowded as she thought it would be; although, today was Sunday. The silence between them was awkward but not unbearable, as neither one had any idea what to do.

They were silent all the way in the train, and just when it started to feel comfortable, his phone rang. He stared at his screen for a long time and didn't show any signal that he was going to answer the call.

Ross turned her head on him and raised an eyebrow. "Aren't you going to pick it up?" she asked.

Josh didn't answer right away. Instead, he slid his finger to ignore the call and shoved his phone back into his pocket. "We get off on the next stop," he told her.

She nodded and moved her body closer to him. "Where are we going, exactly?" She squinted her eyes and he swore it made her look ten times cuter.

He had been spending more than a month only to make today come true. Technically, this was their first date and he really wanted to make it special. He knew they weren't meant for each other, but at least he wanted to make a day that she could remember for the rest of her life.

"It wouldn't be a surprise if I tell you now." He smiled just when his phone rang once again. This time he swiftly turned his phone off which made Ross suspicious.

"Why don't you answer it?" she asked, folding her arms in front of her chest. "Maybe it's an important call."

He swung an arm around her and guided her off the train. "It's a call from insurance agents, my love." He kissed the top of her head and then smiled. "I won't let those calls ruin our day."

She smiled back. "Oh, I think I just started falling in love with you all over again."

He bent down to kiss her cheek. "I know I'm pretty hard to resist."

Ross rolled her eyes but still smiled.

Their first stop was the University of North Carolina. Ross wondered why would he take her here but she said nothing.

He took a seat on the bench and asked her to join him. "I know you have been wondering all this time," he said surely, as if he could read her mind, "about my wife."

She raised an eyebrow and suddenly felt uneasy. He was right, she was drowned in curiosity but for some reason, she didn't want to know about that. She wanted to ignore the fact that he was married for as long as she could, because that fact was the only reason why they couldn't be together, even though they were each other's soulmate.
