"What the hell is going on?" I groaned, getting out of bed
"Mardi gras!" squealed my mum before running up to me and dragging me into a room full of dresses and makeup
"Whats going on?" I questioned before my mum sat me down in front of a mirror
"Mardi gras is here and it's time for family time!" my mum beamed while grabbing a big bag filled with make up
"Mother daughter time?" I laughed, getting excited
"Yes and your father might be angry but don't worry" my mum smirked pulling out a hair brush,eye shadow and other necessitates
"What happens when my father is angry?" I asked looking in the mirror, as my mother started to brush my hair and curl it
"Well, lets say it's not pretty" my mum said bluntly looking at me
"Can I ask you a question?"
"Sure anything" My mum asked happily
"Did you ever want to visit me and Aunt Rebekah?" I asked looking up at my mom and saw sadness flash through her eyes
"Yes, but we couldn't risk it" was all she said before finishing curling my hair
"Whatever" I mumble before my mum started to do my make up which was; red lipstick, sparkly black nail polish, and black eye shadow
"There! Now we need to put on your dress and mask!" squealed my mum getting really excited.
"Wait why do I need all of this?" I asked getting confused
"Your going to a masquerade ball, duh!"
"But are you and dad going?"
"I don't think but your father might get over protective and try to go" my mum chuckled before handing me a dress and pair of lack heels.
"Thanks" i said before walking into the bathroom and changing.
"Are you ready?" asked my mum from the other side of the door
"yeah" I said before opening the door and walking out
"Oh my god! you look beautiful!" said my mum while she looked like she was about to cry
"Thanks" I blushed looking down
"Now time to show your father!" My mum said taking my hand and taking me into the hall, "Klaus!" yelled my mum making me cringe
"What on earth do you need now Hail-" my dad said stopping once he saw me, "Hope?" my dad whispered before getting teary eyed
"Yes?" I blushed once again
"You look like a princess!" my dad said walking over to me and giving me a hug
"Thanks!" I laughed getting happy
"wait who's going with you?" asked my dad
"Me" said the annoying voice of.... Marcel
"Hell no!" I shouted shooting glares at Marcel
"So to disappoint you but i'm the only one they trust and would you want to go to a ball with your uncle?" questioned Marcel acting defensively
"Yes!" I said making my mum chuckle and my dad nod
"Well to bad your going with me" Marcel said before grabbing my hand and taking me outside
"Meanie!" I shouted, stomping my foot
"Baby" he shot back
"Your mean" I mumbled getting mad
"Oh I'm mean?"
"Yes!" I half shouted getting even more annoyed
"Fine you do your thing and I'll do mine" Marcel said before walking into the room full of people in masks
"Deal" I muttered before walking in the ball room
"Can I get a diet coke?" I asked the bartender "Sure thing" he smirked before taking a plastic cup and filling it to the brim
"Thanks" I said after he handed my drink
"Thought I'd find you here" I heard a voice say as I felt his warm breath roll down my neck and his hands on my hips
"Do I know you" I said as my breath hitched
"Remember I'm Tyler Lockwood" He said before kissing my neck
"I barley know you" I said, rolling my neck to the side causing him to plant more kisses on my neck
"I know I'm in your dreams and your in mine" he murmured trailing his hands along my back
"But what does that mean?" I whispered getting confused again "It means your mine" he said picking me up by my hips and pulling me into a closet
"How am I yours exactly?" I gasped as he place his hand on my bum, lifting me up
"A witch told me I could find the girl for me in my dreams and that's you"
"A witch told me I would find the girl in my dreams, that's you" he said before kissing my lips
"Thanks wonderful but, I don't bang on the first date" I sat patting him on the chest and walking out of the closet leaving Tyler confused
"Where have you been?" asked Marcel walking up to me
"Around"
"We need to head back" Marcel said, taking my upper arm and dragging me out of the ball room.
"What for?"
"An actual party" Marcel smirked
"Really? I'm tired!" I yawned getting sleepy
"Fine you got to sleep and I'll party, deal?"
"Yes" I sighed before getting in the jeep Marcel used to drive here
"How was the masquerade ball?" asked my mum excitedly
"Great but I'm sleepy can I go to bed?" I asked kicking of my heels
"Sure thing I put a pair of clothes on you bed" My mum said, before I walked up the stairs to my room and then changing after a quick shower
"Night baby girl" my mum said before she closed the door
"Night mum" I mumbled before falling into darkness
