"Why didn't you just tell me..?"

"Because,Zoey,I'm not supposed to."

"So?!Its not like you'd get hurt!Everyone else is going to jail!"

I grabbed his arms and pulled him closer to me,so I was in his face."Please get them out of your head."

"Sorry.."He said at almost a whisper.

"It's fine..just snap out of it..please."

He nodded.

"Thank you.."

All of a sudden,someone took me out of Coltons grip and hugged me.It was my aunt.

"Oh my god..your okay.."

I did an awkward."Yep.."

She hugged me for what felt like forever,and when she let go of me,I saw  Cali,and most of our family standing there.

"Zoey..this is all my fault.."Cali said.

"Your just now figuring this out?"I said almost losing my balance.

"Forgive me..please.."

I crossed my arms over my chest.

She walked over to me and stood right in front of me.Her eyes looked red and puffy from crying.I bit down on my bottom lip to try to stop from crying,but the tears still came.Of course I forgave her.I still loved her and everything.

My arms swung up and wrapped the around her,setting my head on her shoulder.

"No!"

We all looked back and saw mom scream at the police.

"Please,no!Don't send me away again!"

She got put of the cops grip before he cuffed her,and grabbed Carson,which made him start to scream and cry again.

I moved Cali out of my way and walked over to her.She was screaming at the cops,and when I got over to her,I kicked behind her knees making her fall.I grabbed Carson before she fell all the way.

He stopped crying when he noticed me,and his grip around my neck tightened.A cop picked her up and cuffed her.I sat on the ground with Carson on my lap.We both were hugging each other.

"You said this wouldn't happen again.."He said starting to cry again.

"I know bud..I didn't think it would..but now you really are safe."I started rubbing his back."I promise."

"But hey."I pulled him away from me and he rubbed his eyes."At least your really are safe now."

"Will you keep me safe?"He said moving his hands away from his eyes.

I smiled."Yes."

"Hey!"A cop yelled a few seconds later.

Carsons eyes grew big, and the cops aimed there guns to someone behind me.I didn't know if I were to move or not,so I didn't.

"Carson..who's behind me."

"Fred."He said quietly.

Fuck.

"Sir!"A cop yelled."Put the gun down!"

"Just kill her!"Mom yelled.

"Carson."I whispered."Run over to the cops as fast as you can,okay?"

He nodded.

Carson got up slowly,and quickly ran over to them.What was I supposed to do?He knew I weak.

"Zoey,you didn't have to call the cops."Fred said.

"I'm sorry.."

"Oh please,that's all you every say."

"Fred,I mean it.."

He picked me up from the back of my shirt and Colton walked over.

"Leave her alone."

"It's not like your going to kill me."

"You don't know that."

"Colton,you don't have the guts."

I made Fred let go of my shirt and I spun around and got in Fred's face.

"If you leave right now,and never go near me or anyone again,I will tell them not to send you away."I grabbed his arms so he couldn't go anywhere,and pulled him closer to me."And I mean it."
