Why is everything,

So technicolor bright,

All these shades and hues,

Disguise what is really in sight.

A distraction and a liability,

Why the world would make more sense,

If everything was black and grey,

No one would judge beauty anymore.

But then you could imagine,

Wishing you had admired it more while it was here,

Because people only miss the thing,

When they realise it is gone.

The oceans lost its crystal blue glimmer,

The flowers velvet petals contain no hue,

Because the only one to blame for this,

Is the one who lost sight of the importance of things,

You.
