Trusting witches is not a good thing to do. Here’s my list of reason why.
1. They are bitches
2. They say they can make all your wishes come true
3. They are sly little bitches
4. They can always weasel their way out of contracts
First of all; please take your parents advice. They probably told you all the time, “Don’t talk to strangers”. Good advice, good advice that would probably ring through your head when you see someone on the street wearing a fluorescent cloak that covers their face and they are calling your name. To make themselves more-lets say “friendly”- they take the hood off to show their pretty selves because witches just HAVE to be beautiful. It pisses me off a lot.
So you walk over there because they seem nice and you probably know them; they must be in one of your classes. And then they go into their whole spiel about how they see that you are sad and that they know just what you need. They say that they can grant you a wish. Then in your head all that’s going through it is “This is kinda creepy” and “Well what if she can grant my wish” And then she tells you your deepest wish, that you have told only yourself.
You start to go off on a tangent saying that you need to be home or you mom is going to kill you because you are late and start walking away. But that damn witch grabs your arm and pulls you back. You start to scream but everyone walking around doesn’t notice you. The witch starts saying what you are thinking: This creepy girl is trying to capture me and I need to get away. You look at her in horror. She then goes on pulling out her magic card to keep you there. She tells you that you think that she is crazy and probably couldn’t make your wish come true. So she proves to you that she CAN do magic. She starts moving her hands around rapidly and mumbling some words under her breath that you can’t quite hear. To your surprise, a bluish, whitish, ball thingie (you couldn’t really classify it) starts to appear in the center of her hands. She closes her eyes and screams out: DRRRR! A huge white flash blinds you and when the whiteness dies down and after blinking your eyes about 5 million times, you find a cloak (like the one the weird witch girl is wearing) in your favourite colour. You smile because you did secretly like her cloak and had mentally told yourself to buy one. But then you realize how you got the cloak and start backing up. This shit was scaring you.
However the witch girl calls out to you with a voice as sweet as silk, telling you to come back there is nothing to be afraid of. Her voice calms down all your worries and you calmly walk back to her. She’s luring you into a contract. Making swirling images of you wish, and showing you images of what would happen when your wish came true. She tells you that she can make it true.
The logical part of your brain was yelling at you to not go through with this, but you push those thoughts away and let your wish be the one thought jumping through your mind. The witch tells you that all you have to do to have your wish come true, is to sign this contract. You nod slightly and take the paper that was holding out to you. Was she holding it the whole time? Naw probably not, she’s a witch. You skim over the paper. Just boring stuff like the wish cannot be taken back, what to do if the wish went wrong, etc. You sign the contract and the witch smiles at you. She tells you that she is going to make your wish come true right now because you are such a nice person! You blush and mumble a thank you. She beams at you and starts swirling her hands together muttering words. You feel your eyes getting heavy and now all you want to do is to curl up into a ball and fall asleep on the warm asphalt. Stay awake! She’s making your wish come true! Don’t fall asleep on he-. You don’t finish your thought because you have fallen into a deep fathomless sleep.
