You saw the marks on my face
And I know
You don't need this
I should hide these
Under sleeves and
Pretend that my fingernails don't
Scrape against my skin like
I'm trying to escape myself
But please
My body is asking for help
The only way it knows
And after this evening
I've never felt so alone
