"Azaria! No! Please! Don't let go! I don't wanna lose you! You are the future of Hyrule! A light! We need that light! Don't leave us yet! You're too young! Azaria! No!" my mother screamed and cried and pleaded, as she was being taken away, and the grip of us holding hands was loosening. I was also being taken away, but not as harsh as my mother was, I was being tugged and forced to let go. I woke with a start and my mother's old lullaby:
Sky turns red
Princess, go to bed
Close your eyes and sleep, dream ahead
Hear me sing
Hear my voice within
Lay your head to rest
Dream all your fears away
Dream of a better day
Please, dream of better distant times
You are young
Let our hero come
He will bring us peace with this song
We will pray
And await the day
Until he has come
Guide him through endless nights
Guide him to find the light
Please, guide our brave Hero of Time
I rubbed my eyes and yawned. My dad got the ocarina from my mom when they were both children and the funny thing is the same thing happened between Link and Princess Zelda, that's because my parents are Link and Princess Zelda. I'm Azaria, and this is my story of how I found out everything and became a badass.
