XXXVI. Engagement Party (1)

"I don't want to. I don't want to marry him. I don't want this engagement! He hates me, father he hates me" I started to cry and punch my father but he just allowed me... and hugs me tight while repeatedly saying, 'it's okay. Everything's gonna be okay'

It is not! It will not! I am not going to marry that hateful prince!

I pushed father and runs away.

"Celine! Where are you going?!"

Father followed me but I used magic to escape from him and leave the mansion.

At first, I was thinking to run towards Lumiere but he will find me there so I rejected that idea and run towards West Forest, the cave where I first meet him. The black dragon

When I arrived at the icy cold cave, it was still eerie silent but this silence was making my heart calms. I seated in the corner, sobbing and hating my fate.

Why do I need to marry that scumbag prince? If he doesn't hates me, maybe I will allow this marriage and we can get to know each other... but then again and again, we always clashed each other, hating each other, and wishing that we do not meet ever again!

"Who is there?!" I asked in wary

While I was engrossed with my cursing and crying, I heard footstep and it stop ten steps away from me.

When I look in front of me, I saw a pair of black boots.

I look at the owner of the boots and my heart started to beat fast.

Crimson red eyes.

The color of the eyes that I can't stop thinking since I first saw it.

A young man in his early 20s with raven black hair and pair of crimson eyes was standing ten steps away from me.

I immediately stood up and staring at his eyes, mesmerized by this beautiful eyes.

"Why are you crying? Who made you cry?" A deep and manly yet angry voice asked me.

I bit my lower lip, trying to stop any tears that will fell from my eyes, as I remember my engagement with the prince when he asked me the reason why I cry.

Small sobs escape from my mouth until I cover my eyes with my hands and eventually fell on my knees.

I felt that I fell in his embrace and he rubs my back, soothing me with his gentle touch. "Stop crying. You don't need to cry anymore. I am here now and no one is allowed to hurt you anymore"

I eventually fell unconscious because of his soothing voice. I don't know him but his presence makes me calm and... Feel safe.

"Nyaaa"

Luna who came from out of nowhere, jump over the head of the young man who's currently lulling Celine in his embrace.

The young man frowned as Luna's action before he pick it up and throw it away.

"Nyaaaa" Luna cries then snarls at the young man, "You never change, Al. You're still as hateful as before"

The young man glowered at her that makes Luna shiver and she thought, 'the only one who can makes you gentle was master and without master, you are evil'

The young man who Luna called Al, softly look at Celine and he gently caress her face. He don't know how long they didn't meet but seeing her like that, crying miserably, his heart was aching that he wanted to kill the ants that made her cry, he even forget how she betray him in the past.

Luna who was approaching them started to shape shift, the cute and adorable white leopard cub turned into a beautiful loli-type silver white haired girl.

"Why did she cry?" A very low and dangerous cold voice asked.

Luna gulps and stops her track before she softly look at her master that currently sleeping on Al's lap.

"She learned about her engagement to the stupid prince" she answered between her teeth. Remembering how the prince treated her master and now they need to marry, she really wants to meet that prince and teach him a lesson.

"Engagement?! An ant dares to marry my woman!!" A very angry roar heard inside the cave that stir Celine from her slumber.

Her butterfly like eyelashes flutter and there is small groan escape from her lips but before she wake up, Luna's small hand fell on her forehead and a golden black light shone from it, she (Celine) once again fell in deep sleep.

"You're really stupid, are you? You wanted her to wake up? Can you bear her prying about us? She can't even remember who we are!" Luna whisper-yell at him.

Al snorted then a pain flicker in his eyes. 'Yes, she can't remember who he is. How can he give her the punishment that he wanted to do to her when she doesn't know who she really is'

Al coldly glares at Luna. "How the hell did my prison cave transferred here? When in fact it shouldn't be exist in this kind of place?"

Luna shrugged, "when I found out that master is back, I met Ace, and she's the only one who favors you"

Al nodded then his eyes softly fell to Celine's facial feature, "when your memories' comes back, will you remember... me?". His voice sounded sad and lonely. He really missed Celine that even know she betrayed him... he still loves her.
