7:15 am
I woke up that morning as tired as ever. I stayed up all night finishing my project, which was due today and yes I started it last night. I slowly got out of bed, not trying to wake anyone. Lord only knows why this floor creaks so much.
"Addison? Are you up?" I heard my mom yell out with only my door between us.
"Yeah" I yelled back, in a lower tone, my mom thinks anything that comes out of my mouth is attitude.
I ignored the fact that she didn't answer back, and started making my bed. I walked to the mirror and with every step you could hear a soft squeak. I pushed back my long brown hair and strained my big hazel eyes cause my sight wasn't the best. I reached over and put on my glasses, then dreadfully looked at my lips which were a type of light purple that I couldn't quite make out.
About half an hour into getting ready, I heard a loud crash downstairs that vibrated the walls. I ran downstairs in a panic, and to my sight was my mother screaming at Jason. I don't know what had happened but I could see small pieces of shimmery glass all over the floor.
"What the hell !?" my mom screamed out pointing at the broken pieces of glass.
"Mom! It wasn't my fault, Luke pushed me" claimed Jason, running his hand through his brown messy hair.
"I don't care who pushed you, clean this up immediately!" she ordered him, while she grabbed her Coach purse and swung it to her arm.
"I'll be home around 7, don't be late to school or you'll see what will happen"
she glared at me while she said those threatening words.
Great, what did I do to her know ? I thought to myself.
I rushed to the kitchen, and got some pie from the fridge, it's never too early for pie. I sat down in the stool near the counter and started reading some magazines.
"LUKE!!" I heard Jason scream so loud, I dropped the magazine to the ground.
"I SWEAR, YOUR SO FREAKING DEAD!!" Jason screamed once again.
Luke came running down the stairs, and out the house. I couldn't help but laugh of how scared he was of Jason.
"What the hell are you laughing at?" Jason demanded an answer from me, you could see his eyebrows scrunched up and his crystal blue eyes glaring the hell out of me, one of his hands was in his pocket and the other was in a fist, like he was ready to attack if I gave him the wrong answer.
There were plenty things I was scared of, and Jason wasn't one of them.
"It doesn't matter, does it?" I finally said, sounding as confident as I could.
He stayed quiet and rolled his eyes. I smirked and ask him, "What did Luke do?"
He took a step forward, and gave me a strong eye contact, he was trying to scared me, it wasn't working.
"That doesn't matter, does it?" he finally said, mocking my words.
I stood up from the stool, put my plate in the sink, and went upstairs. I threw on some ripped boyfriend jeans, and a light gray off the shoulders blouse and added a coat that went down to my knees . After 15 minutes I finished getting ready and hurried down the stairs, I quickly grabbed a muffin, feeling no quilt and rushed to the car. Jason was more annoyed than ever.
"Does it seriously take 20 minutes to put some clothes on" he said it in a way that I knew he wasn't waiting for an answer.
"Can you just stop, and drive, my lord." I said facing away from him to the window, the day was mostly clear of clouds and the sun hit every corner, the beams made it seem like a hot summer, even though it was 47 degrees outside.
