Fire

He started the flames.  He set the world ablaze.  Now he must end this chaos.

Fire.

Could you see the fire in his eyes?

The fire that ignited the world.

Around him, the fire swirled.

Grey as an elephant were the skies.

His eyes were enchanting.

Making the fire burn brighter,

Informing everyone he is a fighter.

He is a seed, rage was what he was planting.

You could hear the crackling of the fire.

As it diminished the human population.

Knocking out nation by nation.

The world's end will transpire.

The person he was fostered by,

Maternal was she.

But she had to flee.

Or else from the fire she would die.

He used to revere her so much.

Now he palled her.

Everything that made her so pure,

To him was now in a hutch.

The world must be ablaze.

To do that, he had a reputable plan.

Something he learned from a wise man.

You could see coming off the fire was haze.

He made the fire massive.

It surrounded the woman.

She fell to the ground, knowing that this was his decision.

He knew that her death was passive.

After the flaming, fierce fire concluded,

He looked at her lifeless body,

Crying until he was groggy.

Carrying her to a place that's secluded.

Stodgy was the place,

But she was still buried there.

Over her body he said a prayer.

God, please let her keep her grace.

He walked away,

Feeling so much regret.

Knowing to many he was a threat.

Remembering all the friends he had to betray.

But he continued his life,

Knowing he would end it soon.

So on the last full moon,

To his heart, he held the knife.

He said his final goodbyes.

He said he was done.

That the woman was his only loved one.

That's when tears were in his eyes.

He said that his grief would end.

That he shall leave.

It was the right thing he believed.

But one last message to the woman he would send.

He was sorry.

He hoped she waited at Heaven's gate.

And wasn't too late,

To see Heaven's night starry.

That's when he closed his eyes.

And ended his life.

Ended his strife.

As he dies.

To his surprise, he opened his eyes.

To see that he had risen

From his prison

To see the beautiful skies.

He saw her once again.

She was an angel.

And he knew,

He was with her,

Forever and eternally in peace.

He was in Heaven.
