Keith woke from his peaceful sleep with a smile on his face. He had just dreamt of his next door neighbor and crush of 6 months, Lance. He wouldn't be caught dead admitting it, but the guy made him happier than anyone he had met in his short 19 years of living. He shrugged off his thoughts and climbed out of bed, heading straight to the kitchen for some tea. His hair was a mess, but it was Sunday and he was snowed in, so what did it matter?

"Camomile, Earl Grey, aha! Cinnamon!" Keith pulled out the bag of loose cinnamon tea and grinned. It was his favorite during the winter. He put it to brew and went to the fridge, looking for milk. He sighed when he remembered he had used it all last night. He trudged to his bedroom and changed into actual clothes and not just pyjamas, all while brushing out his hair. He was willing to walk to the nearest store for more milk, and that was exactly what he was gonna do. He stepped outside, letting his small and furry ginger cat out. When he stepped outside, however, he was met by an interesting sight. Lance was building an army of miniature snowmen. He raised an eyebrow in the boys direction.

"Having fun there, Lance?" Lance looked up and grinned mischeviously. He glanced at the snowball in his hand and back at Keith.

"Oh you know it. You should join in, Keithy-boy!" Keith rolled his eyes and kept his bored look. He looked at the 12 snowmen that were surrounding lance and shook his head. He started to walk off when he felt a burst of cold on the back of his head. He turned sharply on his heel and glared at the tan boy who was now laughing.

"Lance! What the hell? I'll get you back!" Keith immediately dove behind the large oak in his yard and scooped up a handful of snow, forming it into a dense ball. He peeked out from the side of the tree and chucked it at Lance, missing him, but knocking down a snowman.

"Bob! Noooo! You'll pay for that, mullet!" Lance cried out in agony and scooped up a large amount of snow, successfully forming a snowball that was 6 inches in diameter. He launched it at Keith and growled lightly when it missed.

"Ya missed me, pretty boy! No surprise." Lance growled, but he blushed at the nickname. He formed a new plan, grabbing two or three premade snowballs and sneaking to Keith's tree. He jumped out and three the balls all at once, mailing Keith directly in the face. Keith growled and lunged, tackling Lance and straddling his hips.

"What the hell, McClain!?" Keith glared slightly, looking at Lance with a competitive hate. Lance, on the other hand, was too busy taking in Keith's snow covered appearance. The snowflakes rested beautifully on Keith's long lashes, and his pale cheeks and nose were dusted a rosy pink. The ridiculous cream coloured scarf hung loosely around his neck, revealing pretty jutting collarbones.

"Holy shit, you're so pretty..." Keith flushed a bright red when he heard that comment. He bit his lip and tilted his head.

"W-what? Lance, you're kidding right?" The cuban boy blushed and, without a second thought, gently kissed Keith. The Kogane boy, though startled, immediately moved his lips in sync. The moment was magical, sparks flying between the two. The only thing that could possibly split the two would be the work of fate itself. Or a cat.

Keith's cat jumped in his back, startling him. He jumped away from Lance reluctantly. Both of the boys were a giggling mess. Keith helped Lance up and invited him inside.

"C'mon pretty boy. I have tea and Netflix inside." Needless to say, Lance was more than willing to step inside with his snowy companion.
