The Devils Contract

Chapter One

It's happened so fast, it's like I didn't see a thing, but I did. There I was just driving to my sister to school when out of nowhere a big truck comes out, we were driving on the freeway and a truck hits another car, I try to stop but I just drive right into the crash. Getting myself and my sister in the accident. I shut my eyes in pain, and when I open them I see my sister sitting there with her eyes shut, not moving or making a sound. I reach over and check for a pulse, I do this no matter how much my arm hurts. I breathe out when I find out she has a pulse, I hear sirens in the background, and people stoping there cars and getting out to help. I see a bright light and notice the truck caught on fire. I suddenly see my door open and two men grabing me gently and pulling me out, they hand me over to woman who walks me away from the crash sene as the men grab my sister carefully but quickly. They get her out safely and bring her over to the ambulance. I try to walk over to her but my legs hurt so much that I fall down, when all of a sudden I hear an explosion, I look up to see my sister getting placed into the ambulance. Two paramedics come over to me and get me on a stretcher to take me to the hospital awell, I try to reach towards my sister ambulance but I get stoped. All I hear is muffled voices and sirens all around, but I block them out, I just want to know if my sister is alright. I get loaded into the ambulance and then taken to hospital. On the way there they hook me up to an oxygen tank and inject a pain killer into me, I suddenly feel my eye kids getting heavier. One of the paramedics keeps tell me to stay with them, but I'm just so tierd, so I close my eyes, and sleep.

*beep* *beep* *beep* *beep*

I hear a beeping sound as my body slowly wakes up, soon I feel ready to open my eyes, I slowly open them to find a nurse by my bed side checking my pulse. I look over to her and she looks back at me and smiles.

"Good morning Miss. Belle," she greets me. "I don't know if you remember but you we're in a terrible car accident, but your safe now," she tells me softly and pats my arm gently.

Suddenly it all comes back to me, the car, the truck, my sister, everything. My sister! Oh gosh! I hope she's okay, I don't know what I'll do if I loose her, I love her so much. I mean yeah we fight but I still love her. I start sitting up slowly when suddenly I feel a sharp pain through my back. I cry out silently.

"Oh! I wouldn't do that Miss. Belle," the nurse pushes me down gently. "I would give you some more pain killers but I wouldn't want to overdose you, if your wondering about your sister. Your parents are with her, she's fine." She assures me, "she's in a medical coma do to internal bleeding and she suffered a bolt to the head. She's had all her surgery's that we're nessisary already. Now with you, your back is gonna be in a lot of pain for the next few days so take it easy, your left arm is bruised badly. And your legs have suffered just some bruising aswell, you also have some cuts and light bruising on your face from the crash. You've been out for over a week by the way" she tells me in a calm voice. This calms me down.

I decide to just lay back down and think, I haven't said anything since the crash. The nurse tells me she's gonna go tell my parents I'm awake and the two people that have been waiting for me for a while. I feel relived knowing my two best friends have came, I don't know what I'd do without them, I feel tierd again, I want to just sleep forever. I close my eyes and let my mind go blank, I need peace right now, I don't have time to think, or for noise.
